The best type of van walkthroughs are like this where after 5yrs you've modified and found the best practices from trial and error. I gotta do a similar one soon.

Brian’s channel is the first I’ve found several years ago when I first got interested in van life. He’s still my fave because he never glamorizes his rig or lifestyle, just presents it in a simple honest way. Congrats on 5 years and wish you safe and healthy always.

Nice tour and great use of interior van space. So much storage area, surprising.
Great video that covers some of what it takes to live in a van. I remember my first month in my van, being black and blue having hit my head, elbows and knees numerous times until I worked out the dimensions of the van. 🤪 Eventually it all smoothed out and now I see all the reaching, stretching, and grabbing as a living yoga workout that's keeping me in shape. I also use swim noodles for various things in my Westfalia. In the winter I used them to hold up the Mylar bubble wrap insulator panels that I have made for the pop top walls :-) I love it when Van lifers think outside of the box (No pun intended) and share it with us! Thanks again for the great informational video! I'm looking forward to your next one, whenever it comes :-)

You are truly simplistic in living. Pool noodle & a couple clamps to complete bed/couch. I wasn’t aware of the diesel furnace, those look ideal as they don’t spew out a bunch of moisture. Thanks for the update always great to see you.

I love your buildout. We just got our first van in February. A 95 G20 Explorer. We got locked down a month later. We're currently in Yosemite ntl Park ( We're employees able to remain in housing). I'm looking forward to exploring your channel. Best wishes to you.
