Outro- The Fix by Aldous Young - Sport
Its crazy how 6 years after this draft theres still 14 active RB’s from this draft
thats actually wild
It really is.
No that can't be right, 2017 was only 3 years ago... oh my god
It’ll be less then 10-5 in 4-6 years
@@Channel-23s dawg if theres 3 or 4 that’s impressive lol runningbacks dont last long 10-12 year is absolutely fantastic
Should have talked about Foreman too, he's finally seeing the field
My Guy D’Onta Slept on
Yeah, I think that achilles injury he suffered his rookie year ruined his trajectory because he showed promise
After Carolina fired Rhule and Traded McCaffery, Foreman showed what he could do.
Cris Carson was a freak man
Saved me in fantasy so many weeks last year.
2008 was pretty lit too. Ray rice, jamaal Charles, cj2k , Matt forte Darren McFadden Felix jones Jonathan Stewart rashard mendenhall just to name a few
To this day I'm still pissed that Chris Carson never got a Pro Bowl nod. Dude in 2018 and 2019 finished top 5 in the league for rushing yards.
Might’ve been one of the hardest runners I’ve witnessed. So punishing his legs and body couldn’t handle it
Fr fr. So sad he was forced to retire
He was awesome to watch for those couple years, wish he could have played longer
Pro Bowl is a popularity contest, not skill unfortunately.. Carson was insane!
Also, Jamaal Williams broke Barry Sanders' rushing touchdown record. He's nothing to scoff at.
Crazy that the Packers drafted both him and Jones in 2017
Yeah. But he had an extra game to do it. He got 2 TDs last game of the season to break the record. That's why I was annoyed they added a 17th game. Most season records will be broken in the near future because teams get that extra game. And if a player plays for 16 seasons, they got an entire extra season of time because of that 1 game per year. Eventually we will see the same with career records being busted for the same reason. I love Jamaal. He's honestly my favorite NFL personality, but I mean, he broke the record because he got a handicap.
@@jameswelch82 In the end, the NFL only added the 17th game for extra money. Nothing we can really change.
@Spartanv43 that's true. And your right, it is what it is.
@@jameswelch82 perhaps, but nfl offenses have also shifted towards the pass game rather than the run game.
1-1
honorable mention to samaje perine who absolutely tore it up this season when mixon needed a break and absolutely popping off, relatively speaking, in those weeks when mixon was injured. He's not super famous but he's got incredible skill, especially for a fourth round pick
People forget how great Kareem really was. Ever since he left KC hasn’t been able to run the ball like they did with him.
He is still good just not starting
Your not gonna be used as much when he is on a team with Nick Chub. He is still great.
He needs to get traded. He's an every down back.
@@TaxinGigs he is a free agent this offseason
I still remember his first game. I was matched up against him in fantasy and saw the early fumble and was like okay should be easy. By the end of the game I was like who the fuck is Kareem Hunt????
As a panthers fan, I will always love Christian McCaffery. Guys a freakin beast that was hindered by injury.
Lol nice name
Hindered by Brock Purdys elbow
Same here Rob
He’s a softass
Hindered by organization he was only hurt 2021 2020 he was a beast before and after
This class is so good so much depth in all rounds CMC,AK41, Foreman, Lenny, Samaje, Austin Ekeler
You named foreman and samaje but not Aaron jones 😐😐😐
Totally missed Corey Clement. He was a huge part in the Eagles Super Bowl win that year and also a UDFA
Fuck whatever happened to Clement
Nah dude was below average and that year was third or 4th in the depth chart
@@ACLA23 He did ball out that year, made something happen almost every time he touched the ball. It did go downhill rapidly fast for him after 2017 though.
Not really worth mentioning for more than 2 seconds. That SB year was literally the only time he’s been a useful player in the NFL…
As a packers fan we got a steal in the 5th round in Aaron Jones. Great back and a better kid. So humble polite and talented.
Love Jamaal too, just hate the team he plays for
He could have even better stats too if McCarthy gave him a real shot his first two seasons
@@youflunkeddaycare yeah he should had started and Jamal Williams should have been the back day one.
Ekeler is criminally underrated for how he produces. If he played on more noted franchises, feel that would be different.
@@micahsealock lions?
He’s pretty much a consensus too 5 player I don’t think he’s underrated at all
Under rated?
Most people understand how terrifying he is..
Oh absolutely, I can’t wait to get him at the back end of the first round of my fantasy draft for the 4th year in a row, despite him always finishing top 3
Ekeler’s a weapon when the Chargers simply remember that they have him and decide to use him. Hopefully Kellen Moore can remedy that
Ekler isnt good at all easily the most overrated dude in the nfl hes a dumpoff merchant who doesnt have very much redeeming for him with a good oc who utilizes herberts talent hes about to go down
Ekeler literally leads the league in total scrimmage touchdowns the past two years, and it’s not even close. He’s a receiving monster that carves up defenses when he is in open space. Just because he doesn’t rush for 1000 yards every year, doesn’t mean he’s bad. You combine up all his stats and it looks like it came out of madden.
@@CdGrifter which is literally a result of the chargers shitty scheming and if you cant carve up a defence with “open space” you probably arent a good rb
The scheme literally allows him to be open all the time he isnt an explosive back at all he isnt elusive doesnt have great vision what does ekler do that is good that any rb cant do?
czcams.com/users/shortsMdGJpb2y-zY?feature=share
Also not rushing 1000 yards for a rb when running the ball is the most important and valuable thing a rb can do is pretty bad
@@Aburner960 it's funny you ignore most scrimmage tds (18, 2022, 20, 2021) and 1637 total yards... but sure, justify you holding absolutely idiotic takes.
@@Aburner960 The nfl demands you be a reliable reciever out of the backfield so 1k yards ONLY rushing isn't the end all stat. Kamara hasn't touched it once but I'm sure you don't care about that lol
As a Saints fan, our 2017 draft was one of the best in our franchise. So many great players in that draft! Mickey Loomis was in his bag that draft. Granted a lot of them left in free agency 🤦🏾♂️
No. It WAS our best draft in franchise history
Fr bruh
You should do a video on "What is the Greatest Game in NFL History?"
That Bills vs Chiefs game last playoffs is still a classic with amazing rewatchability.
There’s a lot of great ones over the years.
Clots vs giants 1958 is called the greatest game ever played
@@brendan4467 yup! That game will always be known as the Greatest Game
@@brendan4467 Nah Patriots Giants SB XLII
Don’t forget Corey Clement. The UDFA was the leading receiver in the Super Bowl for the Eagles. (First in the class to get a ring too)
shout out to Matt Breida, UDFA in 2017 as well who was a real nice contributor (and highly efficient runner) for SF, including in 2019 when they went to the super bowl .
Eckler is one of the best underdog players ive ever seen
Much respect for Ekeler becoming a household name. Maybe you could do a video about the greatest undrafted players of all time?
Great idea
Draft was absurd also included: Pat Mahomes, Cooper Kupp, T.J Watt, Watson, Myles Garret, and more
Yeah, it's actually crazy how many good players in the NFL right now are from that draft class:
Chris Godwin, Marshon Lattimore, Tre White, Marlon Humphrey, Ryan Ramczyk, Marcus Williams, Budda Baker, Mike Williams, Matt Milano, Trey Hendrickson, Haason Reddick, Kittle, JuJu, Jonathan Allen.
2017 probs was one of the greatest drafts
Damn! I didn't realize until now how incredibly impressive that class of running backs are.
Love Jamal. Detroit needs to. Keep that man as long as they can
I remember seeing Eckler play for the first time and knowing Melvin gordon was holding out for a day I immediately picked him up for fantasy and he killed it for me
I did the exact same thing lol
Likewise
KTOOOOOOOO!!! Didn't know Eckler wasn't drafted. Damn. Respect man. It's nice to see dudes keeping it going and letting the work speak for itself.
It's kinda insane how good Alvin Kamara's rookie season was considering Kareem Hunt led the league in rushing and didn't win OROY
Ekeler leading the league in total TDs back to back seasons.
It's a good day when KTO posts
Deonte foreman had a pretty good year with the panthers
Totally appreciate the work you do. It’s always entertaining and insightful.
Love the fullback at 5:57. Blocks no one and then when his guy gets in through the two defenders he didn't block celebrates big.
Love the vid KTO. Always love your pacing, style and storytelling.
I had something come to mind I wanted to throw your way.
Ahead of the draft, there is a QB that broke all sorts of records this past year in college.
Tyson Bagent. Dude was nuts in college and seriously got looks from D1 schools in his last year, but stuck around with Shepherd University to see things through with his coaches and teammates.
Great video as always KTO. Was wondering whether you would do a video on the 2013 TE class. Lots of intersting playes especially with the order they went in. Thought it would be kinda topical considering the 2023 TE class is seen as being deep with lots of talent.
Always a good day when KTO posts a video
Love your video KTO
Great video what an amazing draft class
CMC this year proved why he’s elite he has the vision, balance, break away speed, the wiggle, can block, and his a really good pass catcher
Love the Vids KTO! ❤
Well that's at least ONE thing the Chargers are actually good at. Finding amazing undrafted talent. Antonio Gates of course being the other big hit to come to mind. I did not know Austin Ekeler was the #1 fantasy player of the year.
I think CMC is my favorite of the bunch simply for his versatility as a dual (or triple?) threat. He did throw a touchdown too, after all.
Great piece of journalism KTO
Alvin Kamara won offensive rookie of the year!
Dalvin Cook would've if the Lions didn't play dirty
CMC and AK41 are absolutely the best drafts from that year. They’re unreal!
I needed something to help turn off my brain, KTO coming in clutch
lovs ur vids bro its like im watching a movie
This class is stacked man wow
I remember drafting ekler his first season he broke out I had no idea he was gonna be that good I just took a shot in the dark and boyyyy did it pay off
You should do a video about Steve Slaton. He had such a great rookie year with the Texans and then just completely disappeared.
One year in fantasy I had 4 of these guys and didn't know which ones to start
KTO
Love your stuff!
Would love for you to do a video on Paul Hornung. He was a Heisman winner, drafted 1st overall, was an NFL MVP, and won a SuperBowl rings. Does anyone else have an overall resume like that? He also was a several time NFL champion and set the record for points ina season that stood until 2007. Lombardi called him the greatest athlete he’d ever seen. That Heisman he won was on a Notre Dame team with a losing record…I think he’s the only winner to come from such a team.
Please consider! I’m sure you’d find and highlight some great stuff surrounding his career.
I know he's not exactly a RB, but I think Taysom Hill should have been mentioned given how often he's rushing. He averaged 6.0 yards per attempt this seasons in 96 attempts.
Haven’t watched and it’s 2017
yay kto!
Had ek on both my fantasy teams, hes such a stud and a great guy
Crazy 💯
Bruh, I drafted Austin Ekeler, Josh Jacobs, Nick Chubb, and Jamal Williams in my $50 12 person league. I finished in 3rd😢 My WR’s killed me
Ekeler just different BOLT UP 🟨🟦⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️⚡️
Top-notch as always. KTO is better than any NFL analyst.
Eckler is a cool cat! What a story
One of the few CZcamsrs that’ll make me click that notification every time
KTO is on top of the upload game
Insane
and given they killed the ground game, will be hard to get a better RB class than this one
I love how serious a misdemeanor is taken.
I mean Mixon did flatline a girl
@@jumpstreet255 then it should have been a felony is the point. If you're charged with a misdemeanor that's nothing more then a fine, you pay some money and move on.
I was going to mention my boi Ekeler but glad he got mentioned in the video. He's racked up 40 TD's in the last 2 seasons. How has he not made a Pro Bowl?
Haven't watched the video yet but as a Seahawks fan I remember getting Carson from this draft. Great ROI for a 7th rounder.
This class is just insane
as a seahawks fan it was so sad when chris carson suffered that neck injury
The facct nobody in the comments is talking about Dalvin Cook is disrespectful, this man has been considered one the if not the best rbs next to CMC for years now.
historians are going to be mystified at how I had both Austin Ekeler and Jalen Hurts on my Fantasy roster this year and still got bounced in the first round of the playoffs
Eagles coulda had Joe Mixon
Wayne Gallman was really good backup and had 622 yards for the GInats in 2020.
In NFL history, there’s only two running backs that have had 40+ touchdowns and over 5 yards per carry after six seasons in the NFL the first one is Jim Brown the second is Aaron Jones that was a stat on one of the Facebook NFL archives
Babe wake up, new KTO video just dropped
Perine has been underrated
2010 Defensive Draft Class video please
You overlooked Samaje Perine who is a solid backup and more than good enough to be a starter.
Please post more college football vids
He should make a second channel for those uploads specifically
Wasnt Phillip Lindsey in this class as well? If i recall he was undrafted and did have a decent career.
the 2017 draft in general was one of the best ever
Probably a lot of the RB getting drafted later and later is from the deemphasis of drafting them early in draft by teams
Ekeler did awesome for me in fantasy when Gordon was out.
Can't believe it's almost 6 drafts ago
I still can't believe that Kamara hasn't posted at least one thousand yard season in at least one category. Weird career from that guy
I remember screamingggg when we actually drafted Kamara ⚜️ he was so good at Tennessee
That outro music is so bittersweet.
💥💥 I'm surprised that Alvin Kamara has never rushed for over a thousand yards in a season
Do you think you can make a video showing the best and most realistic fantasy football team?
D'onta Foreman had his breakout year last year in Carolina
2017 will be remembered as a legendary draft in general
I know people will disagree but I consider this the greatest draft class ever.
I agree. Best draft class for my Saints too
A kto video isn’t complete without a seat geek sponsor
Gonna miss McCaffery. Guy is a freak on the field.
Do this for more positions
Hell yeah! Showing love to my DAWG Austin Ekeler!! I’ve been calling him Swole Sproles since he won the job from Melvin Gordon! #BoltUp⚡️⚡️
Chis Carson was such a beast miss him.
But it could be worse we K9 and Now but Penny played with Carson which was great too
Mixon had off the field issues you say?
Another video I was gonna do that KTO beat me too...
Life is unfair and I just wanna be great at making elite level content, man..
The 2019 DL and Edge classes are crazy good too
Like who
@@ryguy4543 nick bosa, maxx crosby, brian burns, josh allen, rashan gary, dexter lawrence, jeffery simmons, christian wilkins, ed oliver
@@Beefy_McWhatnow that’s crazy good
Christian McCaffrey is a gritty, scrappy, sneaky athletic gymrat.
YES
Chris Carson was crazy, it sucked how he could never get on the field because he was a monster
