Even if he didn't live up to the hype, Reggie Bush having 10k all purpose is nothing to sneeze at. I'm glad he got those years in Miami and Detroit though to prove he could be a bellcow back. Because of those years, we never questioned if he could do it. Only unfortunately, why he couldn't do it more. Or why he didn't do enough. But most players would dream to have the career he had, let alone the fan fare he entered the league with. The bat moment in the playoffs with the Saints is one of the best pre game playoff moments of the last 20 years as a non Saints fan. When he was told to inform they were bringing the wood to that game, it was like wow okay these aren't your same Sorry ol' Saints.

Anything less than being the next Barry Sanders and people would’ve called him a bust. But objectively, he had a very solid career. Had a few 1,000 yard seasons, consistently could catch the ball out of the backfield. He was a very solid 3 down back from like 2006-2012. I feel like his career is very underrated man, it’s sad.

I always liked Tony Hills Jr, even though he only gave Tech a passing glance. He was always polite and respectful to everyone he talked to, like an old fashion Texas gentleman. He came across as a professional, even in HS, mature beyond his years. That is not a disparaging remark to the typical recruit as they are just being 17 or 18 years old. I also appreciate his determination, even though it was at the evil empire. ;)

True dat. I always say Reggie Bush was the greatest college player I ever saw and Im going on 35+ years of watching football. Plus Im an ASU fan calling a USC player the greatest ever, game recognize game. He was just magic.

Bush was amazing in College and a decent pro. One of his issues was he always seemed to beat himself up and get down when something went wrong in a game. He would mope on the sidelines. He really needed to learn the NFL isn’t running like crazy all over people.
