  • It's time for a new Stalogy and this time I'm using the new half year (1/2 year) B6 Stalogy. I picked my yellow one because I thought it was perfect for summer. Join me as I go thru the process of setting up my Stalogy. And check back soon for a PWM for the month of July!

      I bought it on Amazon - I'll find a link. It worked pretty well. There's more options for an ink-jet printer than laser and I was using my laser for this. So I'll have to get inkjet too so I can share both! Great idea!

      The one from Little Ida's Notebook? I don't think she has it linked on her IG or Etsy anymore. I got it back in December before I setup my first Stalogy of the year. But I'm sure if you messaged her she could send the size you need (the freebie came in a variety of sizes). Or shoot me an email at justscribble.yt@gmail.com.

    I loved your video! I don't know if you have a full year Stalogy, but if so, I was wondering how the 1/2 year one compares in terms of laying flat. Thank you.

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes I have full year and half year Stalogy365 notebooks. They all lay flat and even can be bent back on themselves without compromising the spine. But I find that the half year lays better especially if you add tip-ins and ephemera because it’s not as thick.

    Where did you get free calendars from?

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 2 lety +1

      The full year overview style calendars were from LittleIdasNoteboook. They were free in 2020. In 2021 she offered them as a printable in her Etsy shop (so they weren't free but they were very reasonably priced) and I presume she will do the same for 2022. However I'm hoping to have a freebie available for 2022 so I'll be sharing that in the coming weeks if I can make it happen.
      The monthly pages I use that are free are generally from PrintableKate printablekate.com/.
      I'll be sharing my 2022 setup video next month as well.

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 2 lety +1

      The corner rounder is from JetPens but I don't know if they make it anymore - they don't sell it anymore. It's from Sun-Star but I have a different Sun-Star corner rounder in my Amazon shop. The tweezers are from Amazon as are the Avery Ultra tabs - both are in my shop too. Here's a link to my shop: www.amazon.com/shop/justscribble

    Does the 1/2 year stalogy stays flat once open?

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před rokem

      Yes it does. I find it lays flat nicely too because it's not so thick and its easier to write on both sides of the pages because it's not so chunky.

    I saw that Wonderland222 is doing a half year B6 notebook but with shipping the price will be about $20. All things considered - paper, price, layout, grid - which do you prefer? Wonderland222 or Stalogy. Thanks for any insight!

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes I have a couple of the Wonderland half-year B6 notebooks on preorder. Of course I have a small stash of B6 Stalogy 1/2 year notebooks too.
      I honstly like both and for me there are benefits to each. The Wonderland B6 fits in some of my notebooks better since it's ISO B6 size (the Stalogy B6 is a little taller) and it's made from Tomoe River paper which I adore. But Stalogy paper is still nice too and Tomoe River paper is not going to be made going forward --- at least as it stands now so I don't know what Wonderland will do in the future). Stalogy is made a little better than Wonderland too (the spine holds up to a chunky planner better), and it's easier to find all year long in the full and half-year versions. I do like the grid of the Wonderland a little better --- the layout of it) but since I don't rely heavily on that it's not a deal breaker. Overall if the cost of the Wonderland is prohibitive I'd just get the Stalogy. I don't find the benefits of the Wonderland are worth a substantial price difference. But if they were the same price for you to get shipped I'd go off of the covers you use and which would fit better in most.

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 3 lety +1

      I didn’t include links to the free printables because they were no longer available to download. I do try to include links when I have them available - and link items in most videos but sometimes there’s too many items to link them all or they are no longer available to link. But I’ll make sure to be more conscious of adding links in the future.
      I do have a video going up early next week with my 2021 setup and it’ll include links to the freebies and other printable I’m using.
      I buy my sticker paper from Online Labels. They have great options for inkjet or laser printers.
