  • I can't believe that May is over - man if flew by - and that it's the last week of school this week! In this video I'm doing a June Setup Plan With Me. We will set out my June section in my B6 Stalogy. I wanted to do things a little different this month to show you different ways you could do weekly spreads even if you didn't want to draw them yourself in your planner. I also touched on ways you could incorporate some of the ideas in your planner even if you are using a preprinted/dated planner. I'm a firm believer that we can all learn something or find inspiration from other planner lovers - regardless of whether we use the same planner system.
    The printables referenced in this planner are a freebie from the SMPlans facebook group, a printable purchased from SMPlan's Etsy shop and a printable purchased from RhoroDesigns Etsy Shop. You can find links to the two Etsy shops below.

    Please don't hesitate to comment if you have questions on anything I covered in this video!

    Love your set ups. Thank you for sharing. It doesn’t look like your mildliners bleed through too much, I must be going over too much with them in my Stalogy.

      No I don’t get bleed thru with them. I use them all the time. Only time I get bleed thru is if I keep going back over it and do too much.

    You know, I did a video in 2018 of me adding vellum, acetate & cardstock in my Hobonichi's for the entire year... I struggled with it..... I wish I would have thought to use my pencil board to get the washitape (I used washi to add my tip-ins in) into the crevices. You are very precise & I appreciate that. 😊
    What kind of paper do you use to make the sticker book? I was trying to look that up a few days ago.... Thanks for sharing all of your tips & tricks. I've been enjoying some binge watchingof your channel since I foundit! 🙋🏼‍♀️ -Kelly

      I'm so glad you are enjoying my channel! I really like using the pencil board - its so much easier (even easier when you aren't trying to film and stay in the camera frame lol)
      I bought some reusable sticker paper on Amazon. I'll find the link and post it for you. I'll be adding two videos in the coming week(s) featuring it!

Sometimes, it is tricky to order something when you don't know the exact verbiage of what it is called. Thank you kindly for this. I'm all about sharing. Have a beautiful Sunday! 😊😊😊

      I use a half year A5 Stalogy in conjunction with a Hobonichi Day Free for my work planner set-up. I have a video detailing it on my channel. Here's a link if you are interested: czcams.com/video/rC3-8LiOFcY/video.html

    Love your videos & style of planning. I've decided to put a stalogy b6 in a HP mini (perfect fit!) due to the bulk & it being difficult to write with the bump. Plus I love the ability to set some pages up ahead & move pages if needed. Keep making great content!

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 4 lety

      That's great! I actually don't mind the hump too much - all the extras I added made it chunky and it's kind of fun to know I've added so many memories into it. But that's super cool about putting it in the HP. The mini is B6 size so that's perfect. Do you like the thin paper on the discs?

    • @amandagodfrey7301
      @amandagodfrey7301 Před 4 lety

      The stalogy paper holds up well with the discs. I'm not super hard on my planners - it goes in my purse but it sits in there well so it's not being tossed around. Plus being careful with the paper on the discs that allow my planner to expand with the memories, washi & stickers is worth it. 😉

    Really enjoy your videos and channel 😃 How do you like your de ringed Micheals binder as a B6 cover? It’s pretty and I like to change covers but I don’t want to always spend the money for something leather 😊

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 4 lety +2

      I like it. It was a little different to de-ring because they attach cardboard to the ring mechanism. But it was fairly quick and easy. I haven't bothered to cover the holes or place I sliced yet. It's stiffer than say a de-ringed Malden because they put cardboard inside for structure but I like the structure. And I never worry about tossing it around or touching it after I get use handsanitizer since it's faux. Definitely got my $10-12 out of it ;)

    • @heyitsdeb9389
      @heyitsdeb9389 Před 4 lety

      I did it! When I de ringed my Malden my hands were sweating 😂 I didn’t stress about this-and I think I will like the structure and not having to be so careful with it 😃👍🏻 keep making videos-you do a great job 🥰

    Very nice. But the idea of buying a page-sized sticker to stick on a page to avoid writing the words on that sticker leaves me flat. I can draw that template. No need to separate me from my money for that. I have tons of planners, stickers, markers, etc., and over the years I've grown very circumspect about it all. People are just looking to make money on all this unnecessary stuff. It doesn't really make our lives more efficient. It is visual and pretty, but where's the actual art? I've done art journaling which requires even more spending, but at least you have a one-of-a-kind piece of art afterward...which eventually gets thrown away...

    • @JustScribble
      @JustScribble  Před 2 lety

      I appreciate you watching and your thoughts. I too can draw my spreads but I sometimes - - especially with my monthlies - I prefer to save time using a printable so I can spend my time doing other things like art and using my other planners and journals. I almost always draw my weeklies but in this video showed some different ways to make spreads for those that don’t like to draw them.
      Also just to clarify I didn’t buy a page-size sticker - I printed a printable on sticker paper. And when I do this it’s almost always with a free printable so there’s no cost.
      In the few instances where I’ve used a printable that wasn’t free I’ve used a printable that I use in multiple planners (discbound and ring-bound) for myself and also family just resizing before printing so I get my moneys worth spending a few dollars and supporting someone’s small business. But we each have our own way of doing things and also our own needs. I also don’t throw away my planners; I keep them as I journal in them as well.
      Thanks again for watching and taking the time to comment.
