- Back in the day Squaresoft made and published, many amazing games that are loved by many in all kinds of circles.
This is another one of those games that might have slipped through the cracks at the time, but is looked back on fondly by those that have played it.
Let's get into why that is~

I loved discovering this game when i was a teenager. At the time i hunted for underrated gems in used games store and both games filled that role and then some.
I barely made it past the intro and learned something new, I can already tell I'm going to like this channel
this actually made me really interested in the story of the game, i feel like it could be so much more, even more with the endings for each
and the gameplay is definetly something fun to do among friends, its different from all the rest, could really get the blood boiling and a lot of laughs in a friend group
I mainly remember Maximillian uploading a video of going through at least one of the arcade modes a while back. Didn't grow up with a PS1 so this is very much one of those games I only heard about once I started learning about various obscure fighting game franchises. I have played at least one "one hit kill" fighter though known as Slice, Dice, & Rice via a mystery game tourney at a con a few years back. It's still sitting in my Switch's wishlist.
i would love to see more videos from you bro. awesome as ever though.
8:05 fun fact, there's at least one more instance of seppuku in the PS1 era, that being one of the boss fights in Tenchu. Dunno why I remember that, but there you go.
Also, try that shit on my Mikado.
damn. im baffled by how low the view and comment count are on this video. im not usually a fan of fighting games (especially traditional ones like this), but the concept sounds interesting and the tiny bit of focus on the stories of the characters is neat as well. i probably would have passed this one up but I will defo put it on my backlog. great vid! ill check out ur other stuff as well :)
This game is sick.
All L, R buttons+ select, start let's You out of any mode, 2nd player can also join in on story mode and fight anywhere on the super map
Crazy how your videos have so little views even though they're so good
0:18 willing to bet you edited this before they sold Tomb Raider in favor of fucking crypto
Well, this video was certainly a lot more in the cynical side. Most lucky for me that I never held Square in a pedestal. And that's all I am going to say before I devolve into rant.
On the game itself... The way you unlock the 2nd ending for each character sounds rather tedious. It would have been far better if they did something like... Each character having a different way to get their 2nd ending.
