how likely is this build to corrupt a world if left running for multiple hours or days at a time?
ive currently got a 4 portal gold farm spread over multiple chunks so it doesn't cause issues but its not very optimized (from trident killers to loot and xp collection)
The bug about ticks building up and unloaded chunks has been fixed several updates ago. You will not have any corruption issues from this farm.

I had built a massive gold farm similar to this based off of JC's design with blast furnaces and item sorters but items kept getting past the sorters and clogging the furnaces. Any idea why this happens so frequently?
It could be because they didn't have enough sorters to pull the other materials out before getting to the unfiltered hoppers. There was a bug with hoppers not picking up items. But since they fixed that bug the hoppers work amazing now.

Also, a very good use for the rotten flesh is to trade it to cleric villagers. I had cured around 30 of them when I built my last gold farm.

At 26:54 you place a redstone repeater here but then in the next cut you say to place glass on this block, what am I meant to do?

structure file faulty, the filter part is faulty, gold particles and zombie meat do not flow into the filter but flow into the furnace
I don't think there was ever a structure file for this farm. If anything is bypassing the filter, ensure that you chunk aligned the build correctly and built and set up everything exactly as the video. :)

Hey! Thanks for the comment. I don't forsee me making a gold farm like that, as it doesn't really make sense to overcomplicate a farm with no gain unless you have a special reason for it. Typically you would just transfer the gold to the nether via a portal. If you did want to do that, you could use the top and mid section of this farm and make a water stream to a nether portal. Then build the Trident killers in the nether under the other portal.
Why don't you use 2 dispenser per portal to place snow and retract faster
Great question! And I had the same question! So I tried it. Unfortunately, I was not able to achieve any faster portal ticking because of the time it takes the portal to relight. This also adds more of a chance of the farm breaking due to the droppers getting skewed.
It might be an idea that I revisit in the future, But my testing when I built this shown that it wasnt beneficial. :(
Built this farm it worked very well but after 2-3 minecraft days none of the portal is lighting up 😢

Will the Tridents despawn if I leave them in the kill chamber?
No, tridents never despawn. However, there is a bug where they fall down into the world from the world reloading. You can usually dig down under the Trident killer to find them when they do this unless they fall into the void.
Does anyone know why the 2 middle portals won’t light?
Rewatch the tutorial and make sure you built everything correctly.

Now it works perfectly. It’s the best gold and xp farm I have ever used.

It's lag protection in case anything backs up or a hopper misses something.

I think they light faster than that, as I don't think there's any cool down with the portals. The limiting factor here is the ignition system and if you can get the fire to spread and light the portal which is pretty much fixed in this design and then the bucket dispensing as there is a cool down of the dispenser placing and picking the bucket back up.

@@xRsBuiltx I thought I answered you before. but with two drops opposite each other, you get a total of 2 ticks over a period of 6 ticks where the portal can be lit. with a dropper it should be 2 ticks over a period of 8 ticks
@@witten1239 correct, simulator to how navynexus did his. But because this farm breaks the portals at a much faster rate. I didn't see much gain due to game lag. I do plan on playing with the mechanic more in the future but for this farm it was set on the sidelines.
@@xRsBuiltx just like he did. but i read a work he did where he claimed droppers have 6 GT cooldown which they don't so i stopped caring what he did. your farm is one of the best I've seen, but you use observer clock to turn off if I remember correctly. the observer clock is 6GT and the dropper is on 4GT to activate and deactivate so it would be possible to make it faster which would also mean that you could use less number of ports.

Does holding a looting 3 sword for this farm work in Java aswell
This farm is unfortunately a Bedrock only farm, As Java does not have the portal ticking mechanic. Trident killer's also do not work in Java edition.

Yes and yes. It is a rather large farm. I would clear at least 3 chunks x 3 chunks at least so you can chunk align it.

@@RedactedNo id go at least 50 blocks in height to make sure you have clearance. I haven't measured the height but it should be close to that as the portal is 23x23.

Bro the world download or something you gave is glitched because all comparators and repeaters are placed sideways when I load them in my world
How are you loading this in? If you are using a structure block it should load them in fine. If you are using structura, It might not support positioning of the comparators/repeaters yet. Which would be an issue with structura.

@@Bro_thoughts I've test loaded the structure pack and it all loads fine. You might have the rotation of your structure block wrong. But it should still paste everything in correctly.

This farm doesnt seem to be suitable for realms. Chunk banned myself and loading the chunk with the farm crashes the whole realm. 😂
Ived tested this on realms and it works great. It may be a hardware issue on the device your running and may need you to run it at less than what you are now. Make sure entities (such as items, xp, etc) are not building up. This will cause excessive lag and can cause crashing as well.
@@xRsBuiltxThe front side trident killer has XP collection issues which im pretty sure is causing it. Besides that the mobs die at a good rate and items arent getting backed up. Im trying to figure out how to filter the mobs into a single trident killer atm.
Did you install stairs as per the tutorial? Xp buildup shouldnt cause your issues as they despawn after 5 minutes. I would keep a double Trident killer, as you will have problems with having the single Trident killers handle all of the drops from the farm. Are you on a mobile device or switch?
@@xRsBuiltxI did try putting the stairs and I tried slabs and other things in that spot but the front side one still has problems. The XP isn't despawning for some reason we had to break open the trident killer and I got like 100 levels in 2 seconds 😂

@@ekm5745 they are both built identical, so if you have problems with 1 you should have problems with both. That's odd. If it drops the ticking speed then lag will significantly extend the 5 minute despawn timer for xp.

You can make a 5 minute farm and get 1/10th the rates. Or devote a little more time to building it and get great rates. When farm mechanics get indepth, it adds to the length of the tutorial. That and clarity, a longer video explaining how it's built properly means that 99% of people won't come back commenting it isn't working properly. A hour tutorial is a small price to pay for the hundreds of hours of use you'll get out of it. :)
The amount of time building this farm is much less than any other XP farm in bedrock. The only other farms that come close are guardian farms and farms that utilize moving mobs to a different dimension, both of which take much more time setting up.
