- In this Minecraft tutorial, learn how to create the fastest bamboo farm to maximize wood production efficiently. By utilizing crafters, you can speed up the process of collecting wood from bamboo, making it a game-changer for your resource gathering needs. This design can farm just the bamboo or the (log) blocks too with just a few easy modifications. Watch and learn how to maximize your wood production in Minecraft

I totally forgot to edit the clip in where I mention it, but this is a farm that is influenced by the qwerkyness of java redstone directionality and locationality. If you build this farm and it doesn't work, rotate it 90 degrees. If it still doesn't work, move over a chunk (F3+G) and try again. Build just the observer system detecting the bamboo to see if it will work in the orientation or chunk you want.
Edit: No, this does not work on bedrock
Basically: build it with the bamboo facing towards west and if it doesn't work is because your chunk was cursed by the redstone fairy and you need to move out and try again.
It's not locked to west tho which is weird. One chunk it might have to face west, but another would have to face south.
Good video, will be building in my world hopefully soon. Thanks for the showcase. High quality video and editing, keep it up man ❤
Awesome, thank you!
Great tutorial! Very comprehensible and very well edited, great work, keep it going!!
Thanks! I appreciate this SO much!
Hey, excellent work you did on this farm. Like the way you edit the videos. Is there a way you make a video on how to make this farm self-sufficient. Like with moss blocks or something similar to that. Great video!
great video!
Glad you enjoyed it!
great tutorial and farm but can the crafting table replace for the crafter?
No the crafter is the only one able to auto craft, unless you run the carpet autocrafting mod.
Peak CZcams.
"Mom, can we have Etho bamboo farm?"
"No, we have Etho bamboo farm at home."
Etho bamboo farm at home: 0:24
HOW DID THE CRAFTING OUTPUT GET DISPLAYED ON TOP OF THE CRAFTING TABLEEEE? I NEED TO KNOW HOWWWW
I have a list of mods that enhance the vanilla experience. Topic of a future video 😉
is there a version of this that doesn't rely on the bonemeal?
You can run it passively if you want to scale it up larger if you want, but you'd be seriously cutting your rates
How much bone meal (or bone blocks) does it consume per hour ?
Quite a lot. You're gonna want to pair this with an ilmango or rays works moss farm. Definitely more than 9k bone blocks
Keep in mind, too, that you can build this anywhere between 1 slice and the full 9 slices, depending on your needs. One or 2 slices would more than likely be able to keep up with a smelter array, and would require MUCH less bonemeal input :)
Edit: Ran the test again, and if you're wanting to build the full 9 slices, you're gonna want to provide about 3 DCs of Bone BLOCKS... Yikes. IG thats the DBL edge sword of crazy rates XD
Gods I hope they don't patch this to act more like bedrock. Anyways, this is a really great farm. I remember back in the day when 0-ticking sand was the best thing for cactus. I wish I could use this farm in tandem with it. I was playing on a server that allowed "broken redstone tricks" that let you dupe items, but you had to build a way to make it cost something instead of nothing. So I made a tree farm and burned charcoal to "power" it with a comparator. It cost me something that cost me nothing, which was technically allowed lol.
We can sleep pretty sound at night knowing that Mojang will never change these mechanics of the game. The Java redstone community would be up in arms if they changed it this late into the game.
@@yellerthc6010 We'd literally riot (probably, maybe)
I am still very Sodium Chloride about the change to copper bulbs though.
same. I'm probably gonna end up using a mod to revert the change
ok but you also have to attach a big bonemeal farm to it (it use 5 time more bonemeal than a traditional wood farm for same amount of wood)
Just like you would any other fast tree farm. Dont forget your getting this wood faster than a traditional tree farm in a MUCH smaller package
@@yellerthc6010 i'm talking about a 75k / hour farm that is also easy to build
And I'm sure that farm is also much bigger and involves many more pistons... Take some context clues, this farm never focused on being more efficient than a traditional wood farm since bonemeal is so easy to get. The point of this farm is to have a fast source of wood that doesn't take up much space. You'd be using this farm in an industrial area where you'd likely already have a massive bone meal production already. Another point is that this is essentially a custom speed wood farm that can be scaled however you see fit. Go set up a traditional wood farm for a fully automatic crafting factory and tell me how that works
what resource pack do you use ?
Vattic's 64x Faithful paired with Vanilla Tweaks
Know if it would work on bedrock?
No this only works on java
Liked and subbed 🏆
I am sub # 154 (edit)
Does this work on bedrock?
Unfortunately no, this does not work on bedrock as it used quasi-connectivity and 0 ticking which are Java only features 😞
You can place dust on glass in java?
yes, but power doesn't travel down on glass on java, only up... ( I want it to work like Bedrock so bad ngl)
Hate to be that guy but does it work in Bedrock. Figured I'd ask before i begin the build lol. By the way great video and genius build!!! Cant wait for the next contraption!
No, your question is valid since I never mentioned it. No this does not work in bedrock as it relies on QC. ( Quasi- Connectivity)
@@yellerthc6010 Thanks for the hasty response! Glad I didn't start putting it together just to find out it didn't work 😇 Nonetheless this is still an awesome build, keep up the good work bro. Pumped for the next vid!
should’ve read comments before I build the entire thing on bedrock 😂(man the differences are annoying)
Do you have a Discord Server or a Discord account to send you a private message about some farms that I need help with.
I will at some point have a discord for everyone to be a part of, but I don't wanna rush it and get it all wrong, If you know what I mean. I recommend you join the SciCraft discord server as those guys offer some VERY valuable advice. (Its where I learned all I know lol!)
