A tip for this farm, keep the allay on the leash if you can when the allay goes in the hole and attach the leash to a fence somewhere while your allay is stuck in the hole. This is for the allay to stay there whenever you go to the nether because if there isn’t a leash attached the allay will teleport with you into the nether.
so THATS WHAT HAPPENEd and the next closest allay is 3000 blocks away

Yeah I really liked the potato one. Now I just use a fishing pole + chest and lava below method. But it's extremely slow

Some of his farms work but without trident killers because trident can't not be used properly in Java.
Often it's worth considering using an armor stand next to the mobs and just swing at that with your sweeping edge sword instead combined with auto clicking

Tysm! I desperately needed a good source of exp, and this farm was super easy to build. I put 2 allays in my farm instead of 1, and about 55 seconds of having the farm active fully repaired my 2 nearly broken pickaxes and my elytra with 60% durability. Also, for anyone who wants a ton of allays for maximum exp, you can breed allays by playing any music disc and giving them an amethyst shard while they dance
So you can do it with more allay's?? I thought you can't do more with 1 allay
@@KairosMashaBali Yeah with a little extra effort you can get more than 1 allay in the farm for increased efficiency. 2 is pretty easy when they have the same block and you've built a long enough tube trying to get the allays in there, though I've seen another comment saying to not go above 8 allays because that causes a few issues with the farm. I don't think they specified what issues it caused though

For everyone struggling with the downwards observer, you don't need to be able to see the arrow as long as the observer is facing down.

Water is better. The flint and steel already uses durability, and your potions are already limited, why add another thing with limits?

I thought it might have been patched at first because of all the comments saying theirs didn't work, but when I made it was perfectly fine. I just think people don't listen to all of the tutorial, or are just bad at following instructions.

would it work better if you attach a hopper clock to the buttons so its aytomatic?
I built it and added a hopper clock. The only thing is you need a copper bulb and observer so when the hopper clock turns moves, it picks up the water. Otherwise the time waiting for it to turn back on will be 3x as long as the time it’s spawning silverfish. And you need to have the flint and steel on a repeater delay so it doesn’t try to ignite the water.
Built this the other day and it has a decent rate but extended the kelp by another 3 blocks, it was a pain in the ass to get it to work but im now getting a stack a minute its crazy

I'll stick with the piglin gold exp/farm, that farm needs blaze rod and nether wart which means you need to go to a fortress not to mention the mechanic to get exp is tedious and there's a chance that you'll kill your allay. I'm pretty sure the exp you get there is far more little compared to what you get in a piglin gold farm not only you exp but you can also can get gold nugget or ingot that you can use to make golden apple or carrots.

You can also add a dispenser above the allay with splash potions of regeneration or healing above it so you can use it for longer.
This is the best farm ever I builded in my 377 day world and because of this I can stop going to my super smelter and getting xp from it

This is very good but if you play on realm you might lag badly when you click the water
I mean is it okay if I put one extra dispenser containing healing potions? using it for exactly 1 minute sounds kind of hard to do, and also the 20 secs cooldown- enough to give me time to get distracted by other things for I can get bored very easily
What if instead of turning it on and off manually, we used redstone to create an automatic delay switch? 🤔
I feel like it's not really a farm but just quick xp so you can enchant Maybe like one item instead of trying to get the levels

@@DerrickDonovan I am still trying to design it in creative mode. It is actually pretty complex to get the timing just right automatically.
@DerrickDonovan oh no I eventually didn't-- BUT I put like 3 allays there and do it like 45 secs on and give them 20 secs cooldown to heal and it does better than putting 1 allay and turning it on for 1 minute
If you want you can also built a Redstone system, that you can Turn in the Campfire and activate the dispenser with the water from the Killing chamber . Way mire comfortable

If you want to MAXIMIZE efficiency on this farm I recommend putting multiple allays in the chamber. I had about 8 and I hit the mob cap almost instantly. This method is pretty much safe to use anytime since the silverfish will stop anything from spawning behind you. Now I only recommend this if your system can run it as it will lag pretty bad. Not sure if the trident kills the silverfish instantly though so if it is laggy you might want to put Impaling or multiple tridents in the killer before turning on the farm.
Edit: Make sure you have a way to change the difficulty to peaceful and some backup allays (you only need 1 backup allay as they duplicate themselves when breeding) if anything goes wrong (my first batch of allays died and silverfish were escaping somehow on my first run of the farm)

@@VansCreed I was playing on hard mode because I think (not sure) if more silverfish spawn. If you are playing on that difficulty then you should probably put more as they don't one shot the silverfish. Adding one extra allay should be fine as long as the tridents can kill them quick enough
Farm is perfect but I do have a warning. Don't put in more than 8 allays as it begins to become a problem despite the good it does 😅 (I learned my mistakeby putting in 15 and it was way too much to handle)
The nether portal pig men farm is absolutely op I have multiple nether portals and it’s super fast

You could probs use repeaters to automatically turn on and off the dispensers
I tried making one of these for bedrock the day the update dropped, seems like yours is better tbh, but if you use powder snow then you don't have to keep reseting the farm for the allays
What does powder snow do?
@alxzr damages them much slower, so it never kills them. Downside is it's a little slower, but if you get enough allays crammed into the same space then you can still make a good amount of xp
What about putting more allays over the campfire? Will that increase the amount of silverfish’s’ spawn?
Yes it works I’ve done 2 but it’s hard to get them in
@@manuelaguado8622 As long as you get one in you can just dupe them inside the trap with a jukebox, I see people saying not to go over 5 though so you don't lag too bad.
Cool build but why didn’t you tell us at the beginning we were going to get allays and splash potions of infestation. it’s decent early game and I was looking for a simple farm and these detours are so long and take so many more resources than what you said we needed. Plus I needed way more blocks than two stacks which isn’t bad but just annoying. And actually we needed 5 pistons so I had to get an extra.

This is the best xp farm I have ever tried all the other ones I see off of CZcams don’t work and I have to alter them
Hi me and my friends noticed a new problem going on with the trident killers. If the farm goes out of your render distance the trident can disappear. I have tested it for an hour and it happened 7 times. Do you know how to fix it. This is only going on for a couple of days now.

See if your alley if holding a block it will follow you to nether to stop that take the block away from alley in the end by breaking 3 glass blocks over trident killer it will let you take items from alley and name them and it becomes permanent 😺 put the glass blocks back after taking items from alleys
