If the iron golems are only spawning on the outside, place leaf blocks going 4-5 blocks out all around the farm. Iron golems can’t spawn on them. If you find this tip helpful, please drop a like :)

Iron farm works so well! Make sure you turn a decent area around it into dirt paths with a shovel. Got hundreds so far.

the iron farm is very good but I built it in a village and one of the iron golems accidentally spawned in a house which stopped the farm from working luckily I found it and killed it 8.2/10

I think you just use a shovel to create dirt paths around but I don't know how far but I would just go like 10 by 10 all around

You can use your shovel to the grass to make paths and then they would not spawn outside because iron golems doesn't spawn at paths

It has to be mud. The item needs to fall thru the mud into the hopper. Sand and dirt will block it from going thru.
