I don't know what alternator you ran, but best luck I've had is one off a crown vic cop car and put a Sable v6 3in pulley on it. THat Volvo is sick. Those ford SOHC 4.6's don't get enough love they're an awesome engine ford made underwhelming for to many years. Sure they don't put out LS numbers, but they're reliable and can make 400-500 HP and be tons of fun.
Going to have to put a different pan on that car to prevent oil slosh, unless the car just has low oil pressure. Could that be from power issues though car sending wrong signals?
The ride along would be so much fun, just holding on for dear life. Can't wait to see the SRT4 Volvo, that'll be fun. The ls volvo .... nah, but if chase Put that diesel engine into it and sent it. I would be all over that

Yeah we've considered one. Unfortunately that's not gonna fix the oil pressure issue as it's low even when cold with 20w50. Should be able to blip the throttle cold and easily make 100psi oil pressure. It just caps out in the high 50s, cold or hot no matter the rpm. Sitting still or moving.
