@BoostandBadHabits have yall ever tried to promote on tiktok? i dont actually use it, but i was searching for how to promoite a youtube channel that deserves more views and it was the number 1 result. i get that social media is cancer and all that (not a fan myself) but it might be worthwhile to try. Hey if you guys want a change of pace I think a rat rod would be dope to build. My dad built a 1929 Ford and he threw a big block chevy motor in it. Now the biggest plus to it, in my opinion, is that you have nearly unlimited room in the engine bay. And that's because you don't even need fenders on it. so you can get a massive V8 in it with two gigantic turbos and you won't need to cut any holes. If you have an email I can send you pictures of what my dad built. He did a 1927 Ford, a 1929 Ford, and a 1931 Ford. He's done more than that but those are the cars I think would be dope for you to do. Or if you want you can just google Rat Rod and that should give you a pretty decent example. Also no rear fenders to worry about either. The rear wheels go outside the body of the car. And that means you can throw HUGE drag slicks on it without having to worry about things like tires rubbing. And the exhaust should be easy too because you don't have to rout it under the car. My dad just did side exits that barely left the engine bay. And you can probably just buy a fiber glass body somewhere, or you can hunt for one. Just if you try to find an original body it's gonna be rusty as shit and it's also made of steel which makes it heavier. But I just thought it'd be dope if you guys just had a ride you can fuck around with more than usual lol. Massive slicks, Massive turbos or a monster supercharger. But to be honest you'd probably have room for both

You have to watch the plastics, they are a out 8x the price vs the vstrom on the trans bike. Please let's do a drag race between the 800de and honda. I personally have my money down on an 800de because of the traction control bs on the honda. The modes stay after shutdown, but if you disable the TC it returns. Abs comes on on both though, but is easy to disable on the vstrom vs the honda

I got my '24 Transalp about a month ago. I've put down about 2200 miles on it so far. I love it, it's so nice. Hondas are some of my favorite bikes. It handles great in the corners (I've come close to scraping peg). I've done about 50 miles of gavel roads and plan on a lot more. Ride safe guys, and maybe one day I'll ride it from Oregon to Tennessee to visit.
