Love to see the 2v getting used, as an owner of one I can't wait to see what it'll do in the wagon. Maybe put the 4.2 in some 90s euro or jdm 4dr sedan like a BMW 3 series or an Infiniti i30/maxima or maybe even a jetta. Good luck boys happy to see the channel grow 👌🏼💪🏼

Not a 5.3
The 3800 ford bellhousing is the same as the 4.2 v6 giving you a bit more room while still physically bolting to the same motor. Its assuming you are using a traditional ford small block bolt pattern. Otherwise, you arent getting a t5 fitted to a mod motor. I used a t5 from a v6 mustang in my 302 ranger and had to use a f150 302 164 tooth flywheel and clutch set up. Bonus is its an 11 in clutch so it holds better than the mustang 10.5 inch

i get it, i'm currently k swapping my subaru legacy😂 sometimes you just end up going a different route
could just buy a 302 flywheel with removable weights and remove them since the 4.2 is internally balanced and a 302 is externally balanced. In theory it would work if the flywheel bolts on the back of the crank were the same bolt pattern. Like this comment if you want to see the 4.2 live to see another day
I've seen a few 302 flywheels with removable weights since 1981 and earlier were 28 oz and newer ones have a 50 oz that way you can swap weights depending on what year engine you have.
It will be good to see a boosted 2v. Plus, you could gut the c.v. and put it all in the f150..
4.2 sesp a miata. Not sure who on the channel would even be short enough to drive it. 😂

You have to get an intake manifold that will fit underneath the hood, so you can roll sleeper style and smoke some people on the street!!!
2 valves can haul ass and 3650s are good transmissions they were better when gforce offered upgraded gear sets but like so many other things the aftermarket support and parts availability is shit these days. Having fun is all about. Thanks guys
Mine has survived a summer of a boosted 4.6. I was a bit concerned with how many online say they are weak but its been alright. I would like something that can shift quicker in higher rpm though, and stronger. Might be able to find stronger parts to put in it, might be cheaper to buy a new t5 mag

After we finish wills. We'll most likely knock out chases as he has basically everything already for his swap wise. I waiting on a few custom parts to make the srt4 motor work rwd. But hopefully not to long since i already got the ball rolling on them being made. Plus we got the budget sc miata coming back for some big upgrades aswell in the same time frame.

It already has all the goodies in it. We use to rev it past 7k all the time. Cant wait to hear it fire up again.

Most definitely but the 2v fits pretty good in the 240. Just needed a slight notch on the subframe to clear the oil pan. The 740 is staying 4cyl
