Yeah most people didn't even see the back and that is where this car shines. The people that know were blown away you could tell.
Exactly lol if it was parked by the yellow curb 👌🏾👌🏾
*The Charger's bootie is the best part fosho*
@@natesmemes1794 well it isnt a charger soo...
@@macpumperkinz *Yes, it is a Charger.*
*That is the biggest difference between Dave's build and all the other ones on social media that have a Charger front end conversion, Dave actually started with a Charger and put a Magnum roof on it*
*That is why I nicknamed it the Charger Wagnun, because it's a Charger, it's a wagon and it's 1 of none*
Hilarious to listen to non-car people talk about what they "know". Some people are just clueless.
I like when people saw the dash they were like what is going on lol
Remember when everyone made fun of you back in the day because you liked wagons and drove beaters and now EVERYONE drives tall wagons that die at the red lights? What a time to be alive!
@@StaredownGames haha
The little kid saying “how the hell did they get this???” 😂😂😂😂😂
There was an old lady that wanted to know what dealership had them
@@Junkyard_Dave😂😂 tell her she gone be looking forever 😂
@@Junkyard_Dave Should tell her and any others that it was only available to Canadian buyers as there wasn't enough interest in them in the USA. Just for the reaction. Dodge HQ would probably be flooded with emails and phone calls and they would be what on the Hell. Either that or HQ would be Damn it Dave!!!👍♥️😎💯🇨🇦
I don't think people actually got the complexity of this build.
Because it was executed flawlessly. It looks factory.
I would say 98% of the people who looked at it had no idea what's been done to it.
@@grooveguy I think that just shows how well done the build was when people don't think it's fully custom
1 guy did at 1st "that's alotta work"
Now it’s time for SEMA.
Git her done and shock them.
This is something no one would ever expect. Good job Dave!
*I'll give that a hearty "HELL YEAH, BROTHER!" It deserves a spot at the Mopar booth*
Keep that magnum forever man 1of1 build from literal scratch.
Not literal scratch no, impressive none the less.
@@myemth1506 it literally was from scratch
@@myemth1506delete your comment for us
@@ezrabegin8234 No he took half of the roof of a Magnum which was already made and the bottom of an hellcat which was already made and a bunch of parts which were already made and he fused them together with various technics, he did design some parts and the overall design but it isn't from scratch if we stick to it's definition, from scratch means from plain sheet metal and HSS, not cannibalizing parts.
It is very good and impressive none the less I've been following Dave for years and his work is equally impressive as someone who would make anything from scratch, I've seen him sand his wood floor, remove his ingrown toenails and watched him watch Trevor sand the Supra for 2 months straight, however it is what it is and it isn't what it isn't.
@@myemth1506 I love it, him building it from scratch, ground up using scrap parts, truly amazing
“It’s a 6.4 Hemi with a supercharger “ 😂😂
😂😂😂😂😂
That got me laughing too. Some people are clueless and don't know the difference between the 6.2 Hellcat and 6.4 SRT engines.
@@PatientXero607yea but there is people who have found a way to put the hellcat supercharger on the 6.4
@@PatientXero607 99% of the people in the world doesn't know
@@20yearsago 'Are people'. Yes, it can be done. However, that 6.4 doesn't have the same internal strength as the 6.2, so we'll all know how long that 6.4 will last.
See Dodge, people have spoken. Canceling the wagon was a huge, I mean. HUGE Mistake 😂😂😂
Yes it was I had an old lady that still was driving her Magnum mad when she saw this that dodge didn't build them
@@Junkyard_DaveI just saw a Magnum wagon yesterday. It was an SXT with the R/T wheels on it, and the day before that I saw one with a Charger Hellcat front end conversion near my house.
Either way it’s been nearly a year since I saw one, let alone two of them, and they’re just not as common as they used to be 10-15 years ago.
That Charger is so unique can’t wait for an awd launch
Im getting close
You did yourself a disservice by not having a sign to let the people know it's a 1 of 1. You put too much work in to let the public think Dodge built it.
He needs a boomer board
9:46 the dude's reaction was great.
Yeah they were all pretty good
It's sad that wagons don't get more recognition. Some of the most desired cars are wagons. Here's a quick list:
2014 Cadillac CTS-V Wagon
Audi RS6 Avant (Still made)
1957 Chevrolet Bel-Air Nomad
Holden Commodore Wagon (Was suppose to come to America as the G8 Wagon before Pontiac was discontinued)
1964 Ford Fairlane Ranch Wagon
The v2 CTS-V wagon is one of my all time dream cars. All black on black with the 6 speed manual. I will have one, one day 🙏
This is hands down one of the best bespoke custom builds online.
Thanks
Man Dave… you really knocked this one out of the park. Can’t wait to see the dash and the window installed. Loved watching the reactions. This is really a special car. Cheers
Biggest compliment to your workmanship "Its Stock"
I liked how many people thought it was stock
AWD MONSTER, thank you for building what dodge didn't 🎉
No problem!!
I’m genuinely happy for you Dave you’re a good guy who worked hard for that build ..
hope we get to see that Durango again soon
There should be some Durango stuff soon
@@Junkyard_Dave I absolutely love the car! And I absolutely love the color! But I’m just curious, why go and show it, when you don’t even have an interior in it or dashboard. That just doesn’t make any sense to me.
☮️😊
@@TarynnElizabeth619you must not go to car shows or you only go to high end rich people car shows. I have been to plenty of shows with fenders missing , only 1 seat inside , missing door panel cards, no bumpers etc. They are all works in progress cause people like Dave want to finally enjoy driving what they have been working so hard on 😎.
He must not watch the channel and the build it's a 6.4 with a super charger lol they don't understand the time and what this wagon is really been here since day 1 can't wait to see it finished
9:10 yes sir that magnum means business. No one noticed the trackhawk dash or front differential 😂
The cool thing is people cant tell it's awd
You've really got to get that dash done, it really stands out that it's not there. Hope you get it sorted and also the quarter windows soon.
I'm glad you are getting to enjoy your build, I can't wait to see it in person.
your a legend dude. absolutely incredible build.
Thanks appreciate it 🙏
*I think that one old guy said it best "I get it now, what makes it.... holy balls"* 😂
This sht is so tight. -Dave
Lol the more I drive it the better it gets
When you’re completely done with the car, people will even be more blown away. It looks so good!
Your creation shows what can be accomplished with vision, perseverance, and a lot of work. Well done Dave! I can't wait to see it completely finished.
Thank you very much!
I wish you had a camera on the back to. I think the back of the of the car is the highlight not the engine.
Well dave you've done it,you convinced me to build one.8hrs round trip out of state in the pouring rain, but I hot an 06 srt magnum,n so the journey begins...I'll be in touch
Unless you are talking solely about drivetrain swaps, you misunderstood the build. He put a Magnum roof on a CHARGER.
It's okay though, because you just got a badass ride! Good luck and remember to FILM IT. We wanna see!
Incredible work so far with the build, looks and sounds AMAZING! The fact that you man-handled an SRT hellcat engine with TrackHawk AWD into a CUSTOM MADE, modernized magnum platform is beyond mental, keep up the crazy sh*t! 🤘🔥
Well deserved Dave. Congratulations
This beyond having a vision of a cool idea. My ambition far exceeds my talent for a project like this. The amount of labor and metal fab that has gone into this project is astounding. It looks great. I hope you get to finish it and enjoy the heck out of it for years. I also hope Dodge strongly considers putting them back on the agenda. Congratulations!!!
Yeah it just takes time
This is tye eame energy as taking a sleeper to track day and beating legit racecars.
Your gonna need to make a sheet with what it has right next to the hood so people can read it and you can see their reactions 😂😂
This is so cool and amazing. I've been following this for a long time. Keep up the great work and all the best!
Thanks
@11:52 pops had the best reaction, he genuinely loved the build
I love the stories people have about their vehicles at car shows. Glad you got to share the fruits of your labor.
Glad you enjoyed it
well deserved for all your hard work
Fantastic reactions video Dave. Awesome for you buddy. !!🤘🤘
Good job Dave, really good job! It really has been a long time coming. 🎉 💯
Love it cant wait to see it 100% done great work dave!
Can’t wait for you to finish so I can come pick it up! Been a long time waiting. 😉
Can't wait with the full interior 🤟
I’m in South Carolina, pretty far from Colorado but I would travel there in a minute to spend about 3 hours looking at your handiwork
Cleetus charges for rides, no reason Dave can't do the same!
He does?
@@Junkyard_Dave yup, see $20 for Supra rides video. lol
It’s crazy I have been following your build since the beginning and it’s nice to see you finally drive it and enjoying it congratulations just a dash to go and she’s done lol
Yes so close
Incredible job my friend, can’t wait see totally completed. Beautiful car.
I like the reactions from the car show people. I think we need more.
6.25 the man said, ,"this is what a hot rod was" the best statement that was homage to the greats of the day. Mopar or no car
Dave you sir are one incredible builder. Been following you for awhile now and your attention to detail is beyond reproach! Love ALL of the reactions you get! Cant wait until everything is all tied up and we can get to see the complete vision in all its beauty!!! 👍♥️😎💯🇨🇦
Thanks 👍
I guess the greatest compliment on a custom build is when people don't realize it's a custom build.
This is just another example of how car shows bring out non-car people.. this build is beyond awesome Dave and I cannot wait to see it a hundred percent which you're almost there.💙😇
More to come!
This car would be a slam dunk for dodge, even if they made these for preorder only. I’ve seen plenty others on CZcams but they don’t update the rear end. I would honestly want this car more than anything else
looks awesome, cant wait to see the finished interior.
Thanks
You have done an incredible job with that build. It looks like it came like that from the dealer. Looking forward to seeing it finished. God bless
Thanks 👍
I Can't believe that its almost done.i really need to see this in person. Cant wait until you finish the red one. Thanks dave for the content 👍
Love this build but.. why r car show people so impressed by a stock looking engine lmao. The car is the cool part....
Also that guy thinking its stock is also a major compliment at the same time.
Couldn't agree more!
@Junkyard_Dave you did a good job bruddah! But whatever happened to the twin turbo idea?
12:20 “LOOK AT THAT ITS PROBABLY STOCK” 😂😂😂
I love hearing you enjoy the car 2:09 . Can’t wait for the tune and then maybe a drag strip
I use that exact McGuire's Hybrid Ceramic Wax on cars all the time.
The first coat I put on by hand then on the next wash I put a bit in a foam cannon for my pressure washer. Foam the whole car while it's still wet, then blast it off. Then clean the glass with Rain X because the Hybrid Ceramic wax won't cure on glass and it streaks.
Dry the car then let it sit for about 12 hours usually over night and the whole car looks like it's coated in glass, it lasts a few months if looked after.
I love the stuff.
Dude with the hat and glasses definitely a car guy
I was finally able to catch up with this build. I just wanted to say that I enjoyed watching the progress of this build, I love seeing the final product. I can't wait to see how it will look once the interior is completed and the trackhawk style wing/ conner windows are installed.
A few things left it will be nice to see it done
Fantastic build 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I wish I could build my own dude. It's a crazy
Must be a great feeling to be almost at the end of the build. Awesome job Dave 👍👍👌
It is! On to finishing the next project
Looking forward to it. 👍👍
It would drive me nuts to do all that and be so underrated that people think it’s just a stock car
That ceramic wax is pretty good. You have to spray in on the car when there is water all over the car already. Let sit then rinse it off and dry the car. It's not put on like a normal wax. I love the stuff it's fast and simple.
Read the instructions for the McGuire's period you spray it on when it's wet wipe it in then rinse it off then spray it on again and rinse it off it's not really a wipe on and off product. And when you put it on you put it on right if you're going to just spread and wipe off. It's not made for a just a spray wax. The green one that they make is made for that
the guy at the end lol Hatchback...lol it's a Fn station wagon!! lol
I let him slide because everyone drives "wagons" now. Trunks vs hatch is the only difference they know.
Dave, next project is a 2 door challenger wagon
Hellcat shooting brake????? Sign me up
Are you able to 3D print covers for the windows until you have some made? Would probably look cool for the moment
With that Meguiars cermaic wax, you’re supposed to spray it on a wet car after the car has been washed and then you spray the car down the pressure washer really good as that’s what activates the ceramic and with the water is spreads and coats the car and then you dry off your car regularly. I used that stuff for a little while and it works great but yea it’s not a spray wax that you spray on a dry car and wipe off other wise it will leave some nasty streaks and runs. Hope this helps 👍
Man I gotta loves watching your video keep it up man
Thanks
The guy in the red shirt isn't Samwell Tarly (John Bradley) from Game of Thrones?!
Awesome dave
Clear sight glass solutions should be able to cut your quarter glass for the rear doors
a supercharged swapped cobra is actually tuff
8:16 "ohhhhhhh they put a Hellcat on ma car" That's my guy there! (Not literally, IDK him)
Love this 🚙 💙 🔥
Man you should add a AWD sticker on the car so people will know that it's all wheel drive and not just another charger conversion
I like that it's kind of a secret
dude so jealous in a good way tho beautiful ride wish i could do something like this love it 👌👌❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Someone needs to tag dodge in this series they need to produce a "challenger wagon"...
Everyone needs to tag them if they want to see cool stuff
Guy in the ball cap, “it’s probably stock”
I don’t have the words. Wow.
U should do sorta short list of specal features of the car...Like "awd", "handmade not bought", "carbon roof" etc...and then u can put it on the side window, guaranteed interest :) a lot didnt know that actually Magnum Kitty doesnt even exist :)
You HAVE to get it to SEMA. You will be legendary. Start talking to your sponsors now before they get someone else in the booth!
We will see
I drive a 2014 MB E63 wagon. This vehicle is the closest thing to it. I would definitely find one if they built it. Congratulations on a wonderful build.
Thanks
I was here from the start of the project, I dont remember how many cars you made before endup with this. Notable event when the car fall off the lift... that was so scary and sad.
I remember you were saying you want it to be like a factory made car and not a hotrod... you achieve that for sure
Thanks
This is one of the coolest builds I've seen in quite a long time, It's really, really awesome. The only thing I would add to it for a cherry on top, Is that huge glass sunroof from the 300 C. But that would be a lot of work to get that in there. But it would be so cool. Hopefully, that idea didn't give you more work. It's awesome just the way it is. Beautiful job, sir.
Straight from Ny !!! Love it that’s my #2 dream car #1is 300 swap with a hell cat engine is #1 love those 2 car body shapes
You should be damn proud!
Friggin love this car i was a huge fan of the Magnum sucks they stopped them in 2008 . Dave you definitely made a one of one congrats it's beautiful have a good day and stay safe Jimmy from North Attleboro Mass.
Thanks
The squeaks when he drives it are just killing me. I love the build but no way I could drive that thing around without a dash and those windows. Hope he finishes it soon.
Did not expect the inside lolll
Hands down the best project car on CZcams!!!
Thanks
I'm sure someone in Cali can do that dash it's some guys there that make magic
Yeah that is the only bad thing about Colorado nobody knows how to do anything they say they do charge you a bunch of money and then you never get what you pay for
Dodge should've made it!
Glad you are
Looks amazing!
I'm up north in Loveland. Hope I see you up this way sometime!
this thing is beautiful!
Thanks
You know you did it right when people think you didn’t do anything at all. Looks like it’s an OEM product, Dodge should’ve produced a new generation Magnum.
Once the last few things are finished 99% of the people won't even know
@@Junkyard_Dave I’m looking forward to seeing that dash completed, I think that’s going to look so slick and it’s gonna take a really familiar eye from someone to notice all the changes that are being made. A little thought for your rear door corner glass, maybe do some temporary matching carbon fiber panels until you can find someone to cut the glass for you.
As I've commented before Dave, you are super talented! It's a shame that Dodge is falling apart right now! I'm sure they have seen this, but all they could offer is some type of reaction. But, at least you have shown them your love for the brand.
Congratulations Dave on the reaction from the poeple .have to agree. she is one sweet ride . If i was in the states.i pay to have a ride in the car.
jeez it almost would be worth leaving a couple things undone, just so people could see the handbuilt nature of the, and even more appreciate the quality of the build. Like leave the quarter windows out or something
Lol it's nice they can't tell
Dude when is this cars and Coffee.? I need to see this in person.
*That one guy said "It's just a Hell Cat, it’s probably stock"* 😂
