  • Learn the chainlink chevron friendship bracelet technique!
    Hi and welcome to Pattern and Craft
    This video demonstrates the basics of the chainlink chevron technique so you can use it to make a basic chainlink/lattice chevron bracelet, then progress on to diamonds and more complex patterns once you have mastered this technique!
    (You will need to already know how to start bracelets and use the basic knots, this technique uses forward and backward knots).
    Feel free to leave comments, questions, or suggestions for future videos in the comments on this video, or just let me know what you've been working on lately.

    Great tutorial, Courtney! My favorite part is the last 5 minutes when you have the discussion on the three bracelets, and share your tricks and suggestions. I’ve watched that part several times already to capture it all.

    I was just watch the two in one video! I loved this one. I had just started a bracelet like this and I didn't know you could do it in these ways!

    What brand of thread does the multi colored bracelet use? I love the slight sheen!

    • @patternandcraft3908
      @patternandcraft3908  Před 3 lety +1

      I use mostly DMC embroidery floss, as you noticed it has a beautiful sheen and also is high quality, consistent, soft yet strong, and rarely tangles. Huge color selection.

      @@patternandcraft3908 Nice, thank you! I also use primarily DMC and while I've enjoyed working with it, the bracelet I'm currently doing is tangling relentlessly and the colors of the thread already look dull :(
