I was editing this for like a week straight, I'm SO tired of this vid I didn't even watch it back haha. Let me know if there are any editing mistakes lol. Not that I'm going to ever fix them - this took 2 HOURS to render and I had to do it TWICE because the first time I somehow cut out a whole section by accident?! I always think that whenever people do a starburst pattern it looks absolutely perfect no matter what :)

I really appreciate this more "advanced" bracelet tutorial because I know how to do the basics but I usually struggle with section knotting and figuring out what to do at what times, but this really helped with that. It was exactly what I needed!

Dear Masha, it has been ages since I last knotted based on a video tutorial and I totally forgot how awesome and relaxing and low effort and did I say relaxing this is. And especially this tutorial. Wow! I can't even describe how happy I am right now! It's my first time making a bracelet this huge (my biggest bracelet was only 20 strings)!!!! And it turned out beautiful!
Also: If you decide to make another one of these starburst bracelets, you should do it in green! I think it would look really nice :)

You should do a challenge where you make up a pattern in your head on the spot while making the bracelet by the patter that your making up. Hope that makes sense. Sorry if it doesnât. Also could you show us how you make your knots. Iâm trying to see how tight you make them but it kinda hard. Thanks

Oh my god! Thank you! I had tried to make this bracelet before and ended up forgetting to put 4 strings and didn't realize until I had done the loop and had a few rows... I ended up undoing every knot adding the strings and restarting the bracelet only to make a ton of new mistakes. Thank you !
The first one I made had so many mistakes đ I had to cut extra string out from the back because I accidentally put too many lol and I wasnât about to untie the whole loop. As they say some mistakes get made, thatâs alright, thatâs ok đ

Hey! I know you commented 3 years ago but how many strings does this need? I'm a total beginner (idk why I'm even trying this) but I can't figure out how many strings this needs.
The pattern isn't helping since I have no idea how to read it, please helpđ„Čâ€
Hi!! I completely forgot I commented this haha but it needs 34 strings in total and 6 colours, 14 of those strings will be the main background colour (in mashas video itâs the white strings) and 5 of whatever colour you like, which will need to be 2 strings of each colour, so altogether youâll have 20 strings of colours (the purple gradient in mashas video) if I explained that badly please tell me and i can retype it!!
Ps: if it doesnât turn out the way you liked as a beginner, keep practising, I tried this pattern too when I first started and it turned out wonky and very misshapen, now I can make them with ease! Practise is key especially for a bracelet this big đ„°

pretty sure this will get lost in the comments but for anyone wanting to make this, do it. it's a whole lot easier than it looks ESPECIALLY after you've done the first star.

Masha, have you ever considered using bobbins to wind up the threads you are working with to reduce tangles? I do kumihimo sometimes, and the kumi bobbins are a lifesaver with really long threads.
I've tried that but it's very uncomfortable for me. I know that other people so it though so it is doable

Hello Masha knots! I love this pattern so much and I understand all the steps for this tutorial better than any other video but I don't really know how to start one from lightest to darkest. I want to make a purple on like you did but just setting up the strings gets me confused. I don't know how many you need on one side so if you have time to make a video on that I would actually be able to make this bracelet because I understand everything else but that. :)
