In this video I answer whether or not it's safe to watch laser videos on CZcams without safety protection. I actually get this question a lot. I'm glad I could finally address it.
When I originally broke out the camera yesterday...I was shooting footage for a video on wireless energy transmission with lasers. Somehow, it devolved into this... - Věda a technologie
People who believe watching laser videos blinds them also take screenshots of their cracked phone screens
I thought about doing that for a split second once but that's only because my brain makes choices and makes decisions faster than I can logically think about how stupid they are, its essentially a brain cell traffic jam, I guess you could say I drew a blank lol
I'm not stupid I swear, I know that lasers can't damage your eyes through a screen, the recording ability of a camera and my monitor aren't able to replicate the effect that a laser makes on the eyes, anyone who actually thought that is special

When I saw he was going to point a laser at the camera I knew to dodge out of the way. Unfortunately, I had a very big tv so the increased laser size incinerated my living room.

styro needs to invent a monitor/display with insane adjustable brightness so the viewer can actally be blinded to death. Only a special camera which can record and save high brightness (without a frying sensor :( ) in a custom format, special displaying software on the monitor side...

Can confirm: am blind. Regular digital cameras only open up the saved temporary portal whereas orange cameras are well known for opening up full recreated portals.

I watched a video about space and got sucked through my monitor into deep space and am typing this on a phone of someone else who this happened to and unfortunately can not fit thorough the time space portal in the screen and am now waiting for someone with a larger screen to get teleported into this part of space so i can go back with them to when/where the video they are watching was recorded.
