Came here after watching the new Kenobi episodes from Disney. I think they should be taking notes. This was phenomenal!! Loved the music, acting, camera work, story, everything! And you managed to tell a full, captivating story in under twenty minutes. Great job to everyone who was a part of this

I still absolutely love that James came to help out. He did so well as the slimy Imperial Officer, especially when you think about how he portrayed both Obi-Wan and Plo Koon in the Clone Wars. Was a blast watching this again.
I was not familiar with the name, just looked him up on IMDB... Holy Cow!! What a resume! How did you guys ever get him to appear in this? That's fantastic! I'm learning more all the time about voice-actors, I'm familiar with quite a few of them now. Always fun to add another name to the list of amazing talents!

You release a Han Solo short, we get the Solo movie. You make a Kenobi short, we get the Kenobi series. Could you please do a Knights Of The Old Republic short? I'm sensing a pattern here.

I completely agree!! You are restoring the force of good Star Wars storytelling from the evil bad Disney Empire who has tried to destroy it.
Everything about this production is *chef's kiss*. Just perfect. Also gotta say the Qui-Gon Jinn bit after the credits was so spot on, I had to check who the actor was. Kudos to everyone involved! 👏
Whether the Kenobi series turns out to be good or bad, the real good news is that we will always have this Star Wars GEM which is absolutely phenomenal 👏👏👏 God bless you Jamie!
This is my absolute FAVORITE Fan-Film ever. This evokes so much emotion in me dude i swear, the part where Kenobi picks up the Lightsaber left me so emotional. This is AMAZING, i'm not sure the Kenobi Show will be better than this, i must say.

If it's done like The Mandalorian, it'll be great. If it's like Book of Boba Fett...not so much. Fingers crossed that no matter what, we see some good action and more of what makes us love the Obi-Wan character so much.

It’s amazing the quality of storytelling that can be done without a corporate monster breathing down your neck. This was better than the entire Kenobi series, and it was done in just 14 minutes!

This is, by far, the most superbly crafted, filmed, and acted fan film I have ever seen. I can barely watch most fan films without scrubbing through the cheesy acting parts, but I watched this from beginning to end, glued to the screen, and I will watch it again.

As I’ve watched the original release about….idk 20 times…I will now watch this one as if I’m watching it for the first time yet again. This film always puts a smile on my face in what waits us in less than 40 days

The quality of this is Amazing! I thought it was from the actual Disney+ release even though this Kenobi wasn't Ewan McGregor. The guy looked like Uncle Owen. Very Impressed.

Obi Wan being a badass gives me chills every time
This felt like a real Star Wars sequel, there was good build up and tension at the end. The acting and emotion from the characters put me in the universe. The costumes and special effects everything was amazing, really superb work.
Yes, but technicaly it's a prequel as the story line comes ahead of the Star Wars story line. So everything after Return of the Jedi is actually a prequel.

Amazing! One of the best fan made shorts I have ever seen. Quality production throughout, from the direction, to the props, to the setting, to the music, to the actors themselves. Qi-gon's voice at the end was a perfect bow tie. Well done!

Very well done, loved the use of the anamorphic lens, seals the deal in many ways, as does the horn heavy soundtrack. Great acting, felt that Ben's accent let him down a bit, but on the whole an excellent effort, keeping true to many SW values.

I really appreciated the original Kenobi fan film that you made. This 4K tops the original. You make a convincing Obi Wan, looking a lot like Ewan McGregor. I still think we were jipped by not getting you to star in the Solo movie. You were like a Harrison Ford clone and got the Han Solo voice and mannerisms down pat. I’m hoping that Disney can give such a heart felt love letter to fans with their Kenobi.

As you had to live up to Ewan McGregor, he now has to match this, his own performance, and of course Sir Alec Guinness.

Absolutely brilliant. You've done in 14 minutes what the new series will take 2 seasons to achieve. Finally a real insight into the broken mind of Ben suffering PTSD and losing all he holds dear...but finding hope and purpose again.
Great video, super spot on with the EU and what some elements of the Disney Kenobi series will be like. Id love to see you guys do some sort of Indiana Jones content given you look similar to Harrison Ford and have done stuff about Han.

Realistic situations as I'm sure obi-wan protected Luke and the Lars countless times. I don't believe he just sat in a cave watching from a distance. Good work!

The 4k release looks very good. The original was a bit lackluster in video quality. This is still the best Star Wars fan film I've seen. I definitely re-watch it every time among Eps 1-6.

The true beauty of this piece is that it shows Ben completely giving up to the force. The force tells him he doesn't need his lightsaber, he keeps it locked up, day after day, in a cavern below his home. But when the force tells him, "Hey dude, you gonna need dat saber today", he doesn't hesitate. And when the force tells him the threat is over, he returns his saber. True and absolute surrender to the force.
