  • first thing kick your old pinion to the curb and grab yourself a tekno pinion. They use a larger grub screw. Secondly make sure your shaft hasn't rolled from constantly rolling pinions. It it has grind it or file it down

    only thing i think of is when you fly a ramp and land. the flex will hurt your gears because of how its not as wide as stock. that's why the spur gear moves a little so when it flex's it wont strip out or less chance

    I just used higher grade steel and longer full flat grub screws from aliexpress, zero issues after that re slippage

    Just welded mine on works great! If you do this make sure you have a shop or If you do it use stainless steel filler or a bimetal filler with tig due to the dissimilar metals. Also have aluminum blocks or something to transmit the heat from welding out and not down the shaft to the motor and bearings.

    I think the reason is that the pinion gets very hot and melts the Loctite.
