I am Turkish I really think you guys are putting too much pressure on your players, Yes you lack on the coaching / managerial department, when you consider the level of quality players, but I still think the english players are doing their best with few exceptions. the tactical instructions they are given by Southgate, is the part which seems to be the main issue!

Merih Demiral is 26 in his prime and playing in the saudi pro league. I thought the saudi league was a retirement home and the intensity wasn't high so players from that league would struggle? He didn't look like he struggled

That save was simply world class and at such a crucial time with literally only seconds to go. Can Türkiye lift themselves for the Dutch as they will be shattered after this game whereas the Dutch pretty much cruised past Romania.

Wouldn’t go that far, but it was an amazing save and won Türkiye the game. If it had gone in the momentum would have completely swung the other way and the Turkish players were barely hanging on at that point with several cramping up.

Good save made great by the timing and magnitude. A save i think any professional keeper would make, confortable shoulder height, headed into the ground took a lot of the pace out of it. People comparing it to banks' save its silly!

Its a very short distance and the ball has bounced. The area has a high chance of score (I dont remember exactly but its above 90%)
It is all about physics. If the ball had gone away it would be easier for the keeper to touch the ball because of the time taken.
Absolutely spot on, I could have saved that. Put it this way all he had to do was move the correct way. If he had stood still, we'd all have been saying what's the keeper doing there.

Take the circumstances in consideration..20 seconds to go, perfect header , slippery pitch and a keeper pulling that save?? I bet if Naeuer, Pickford etc pulled that save you would have called it the best..
I wouldn't say it was a save of a lifetime, it was a great save but it wss basically at him and he got a strong hand to it , and it was at a crucial stage nrar the end
