    Played with Jamie for Dartford District when we were 11 and my family live in South Darenth too.
    He was the only one who made it Pro out of all of us. Proud of him. 👏

    The main lesson is never marry a fame hungry girl no matter how good looking she is. I promise you if Jamie was married to a normal good supporting women during the time he signed for Wolves and going to earn £8m, he would not have been depressed the way he says he was. Lads listen to me carefully, the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life isn’t what career you have, what job, what friends you have, it is the woman you choose to marry, choose to go 50/50 on everything you own with. So please choose carefully, don’t marry for looks, marry for heart.

    I too lost my mum after she fought it for a long time, I really felt a connection with Jamie when he spoke about his mum. He's been through so much, I'm glad he's come through it, and is doing well.

    I was 17 when my mum died too but she died suddenly. The grieving process is difficult but it's what makes you a man. Definitely felt a bit of connection with Jamie when he spoke about his mum.He comes across like a nice lad who made some poor decisions but had seen the light.

Ive called him a c*nt and got kicked off talksport in anger, now i see he's a real human, and he was only playing devils advocate and seeing him talk about his mum and then his dad and brothers tears as he made his debut for spurs, wow. you cant take that away from anyone. Jamie your mum is so proud of you. Life isn't a stroll in the park, its tough, like really tough, but out of MILLIONS you did it, you lived your dreams and every fans dreams no matter who they support. Peace and love sir.

    I can totally relate on losing a mother.I have lost my mum and I’m still struggling with the death of my mum through breast cancer and it’s still bottled and when I think about it I tear up so much and pains me a lot.

    Lost my only parent ,my mum, she was a warrior ,A proper Irish mentality,clawed through muck for her boys.
    At 50 see passed from cervical cancer.
    The decline of her health and being completely powerless over the situation.
    Really affected me and my younger brothers.
    Lost her when I was 27.
    There is noting comparable for a man losing the only woman that ever loved them.
    Respect for talking about it Jaime.
    If you want to become that man ,you have to kill the boy.

    Hey man, enjoy the times you had with your mum, you were both lucky to share your time together, better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all. My mum left us when I was 6 without a goodbye………. You’re a lucky man to have had a loving mother.

    He was an ok footballer he didn't play much for Tottenham and he slowly dropped down the levels he was writing cheques his bank balance couldn't cash a familiar tale we hear. footballers need education on how to manage money

    Think about all the idiot moves you made back as a teen and in your twenties as a young man, now imagine that but with the pressure of being a celeb, everyone hanging off ya, cameras following you everywhere and more money than you could ever spend. Now imagine how hard it must be. Lord knows I made my mistakes, take balls to be honest and have the ability to reflect on the mistakes of youth.
