Played with Jamie for Dartford District when we were 11 and my family live in South Darenth too.
He was the only one who made it Pro out of all of us. Proud of him. 👏
The main lesson is never marry a fame hungry girl no matter how good looking she is. I promise you if Jamie was married to a normal good supporting women during the time he signed for Wolves and going to earn £8m, he would not have been depressed the way he says he was. Lads listen to me carefully, the most important decision you’ll ever make in your life isn’t what career you have, what job, what friends you have, it is the woman you choose to marry, choose to go 50/50 on everything you own with. So please choose carefully, don’t marry for looks, marry for heart.
Don’t go near duck lipped, love island wannabes who sniff coke all weekend, nothing good will ever come with them lot
Don’t marry the duck lip coke sniffing love island wannabe girls, damaged goods nowt good will come with them girls
Yeah if a gold digger run for the hills
Don't get married!
Respect Jamie. Very honest interview. I lost my mum aswell and have struggled with it since. Keep your head up mate.🙏
Good luck to ya Jamie❣️🫡
RESPECT
❄️
I too lost my mum after she fought it for a long time, I really felt a connection with Jamie when he spoke about his mum. He's been through so much, I'm glad he's come through it, and is doing well.
I feel u bro I lost my child at 7 months old had to bury him and same week found out mum could potentially have cancer
I used to love watching Jamie play for spurs. He was a fantastic player. I hope he's in a happier place mentally now. He seems like a great guy
I think we sometimes forget that even footballers are just humans like the rest of us
With enormous amounts than the rest of us
@@PeterEllie Yes, but these guys have put in the work to get where they are
some people mistakenly believe that if they had money and fame they would no longer have any problems.
@@bobmcdade5217they got MORE problem often.
Every young footballer should watch this
Yeah because it proves even shit players can make it 👍
@@oliprj8676 😅
@@oliprj8676everyone should read your comment , it proves even non achievers can put a sentence together ❤
@dannydowdeswell246 thanks. I'll take that as a compliment
@@oliprj8676 for what it's worth you've got my respect and a 😄👍
I was 17 when my mum died too but she died suddenly. The grieving process is difficult but it's what makes you a man. Definitely felt a bit of connection with Jamie when he spoke about his mum.He comes across like a nice lad who made some poor decisions but had seen the light.
Ah man! That part where he speaks about his mum was touching man 💔🥲
Very motivational, brutally honest and heartwarming interview. Wishing him all the best.
Cundy & O’Hara are 📻 gold
love them, don't forget Klobby and 100% Mo haha
Clueless 👍🏻
Much prefer them as a duo than Goldstein, they were very toxic together.
@@michaelcorleone7598 toxic with Goldstein? What do u mean
@@michaelcorleone7598 it was Goldstein, I support United but he's too biased and can be a bit much...
Tough watch. Well done Jamie Lad. Nice to see you’re doing well pal. Keep going.
Glad I clicked on this vid. Thanks for your story Jamie.❤
Very honest interview Jamie , hats 🎩 off Sir , your Mum is looking down on her boy with proud eyes x , RIP Jamie’s Mummy x x x
Thanks for sharing Jamie.
Im not crying, you are... Ive called him a c*nt and got kicked off talksport in anger, now i see he's a real human, and he was only playing devils advocate and seeing him talk about his mum and then his dad and brothers tears as he made his debut for spurs, wow. you cant take that away from anyone. Jamie your mum is so proud of you. Life isn't a stroll in the park, its tough, like really tough, but out of MILLIONS you did it, you lived your dreams and every fans dreams no matter who they support. Peace and love sir.
He is ment to be controversial. Talksport is all scripted.
@@ps5andstuffhere your right mate, ive only realised that over the last 8 months.
Really enjoyed this. 👏🏻
Nothing but respect for you Jamie. Love your show on talksport, top man and glad you’re doing well fella
What a heartwarming talk. Thank you Jamie COYS
I can totally relate on losing a mother.I have lost my mum and I’m still struggling with the death of my mum through breast cancer and it’s still bottled and when I think about it I tear up so much and pains me a lot.
Excellent interview.....love these stories
Absolutely brilliant! I love your documentaries
Respect Jamie 🎉 be proud of what you have achieved because millions don't! As men we all struggle and we all feel we can't show feelings it's something I struggle with now but by people like you speaking out it really helps us all 💙⚽️🏴
Thank you for sharing in such a vulnerable way! I know footballers make a lot of $, but they are also human. I hope your story helps many going forward!
Thank you for this video.
Great interview, straight from the heart. Well done 👍 Jaime 👍
Lost my only parent ,my mum, she was a warrior ,A proper Irish mentality, clawed through muck for her boys.
At 50 see passed from cervical cancer.
The decline of her health and being completely powerless over the situation.
Really affected me and my younger brothers.
Lost her when I was 27.
There is noting comparable for a man losing the only woman that ever loved them.
Respect for talking about it Jaime.
If you want to become that man ,you have to kill the boy.
Really good watch this, Jamie’s honesty is so refreshing going to show how resilient he is as a sports person!
love to see this kind of interview. Doesn't matter you like Tottenham or not, listening to this really enlightening.
Love this I always rooted for you
Great presenter and a genuine guy.
Cannot wait for you to reupload Andy Ansah’s one
Brilliant interview
Love your talk sport slot a guy mentioned your documentary so here I am ! Thought ful stuff … hard to grieve for loved ones but you must grieve and get through.
Jamie you had good people around you to get you back to where you are today and you got through - not everyone does.
Superb mate ❤❤
O’Hara you’re a legend mate.
Everyone loves the Sportsbar!
Respect Jamie, we all miss our mums
Hey man, enjoy the times you had with your mum, you were both lucky to share your time together, better to have love and lost than never to have loved at all. My mum left us when I was 6 without a goodbye………. You’re a lucky man to have had a loving mother.
you found peace of mind and nothing can beat that
Respect Jamie, loved watching you mate. Paxton Rd Old Boy ❤
He was an ok footballer he didn't play much for Tottenham and he slowly dropped down the levels he was writing cheques his bank balance couldn't cash a familiar tale we hear. footballers need education on how to manage money
Spurs did it to Gaza too. Horrible club that cares nothing about the players, managers or fans!
They’re all the same, it’s professional sports.
@@thatsthejobbb8587 Spurs is more of a brand than a club. The players and manager are so distant from the rest of the club its crazy
so sorry to hear about your mum she will have been so proud they way you have turned out
I like jamie, he's always very honest
Good for you mate .. decent fella .. likable guy on the radio
The bit about his mum nearly made me cry 😢
I remember seen Jamie for the first time thinking this fellas à baller but never understood how he never take it to the next level.
Wow.. Watching this had me loved u Ohara,as an arsenal fan I am not loving O'Hara the Tottenham fan.. I am i loving O'Hara as a person... Because how he worked had to reached to the top and at the time of ur success ur mum was not around.. God bless u
As soon as he mentioned his mum ....brings it all home 😢
I don't remember him at all, weirdly. But he seems like a decent, honest lad. Best of luck to him
Much Respect Jamie
well done lad - well done
Work through it Jamie, you will come out stronger mate
The wags bro. Nuthin but trouble
He knew it when he smashed all those kids in her. She’d already slept with half the premier league 😂
She was one of the worst to be fair. So blatantly thirsty for fame and sold every detail about their relationship after she dumped him, kept his house and screwed him for child support!
tis his own fault. she was first class bimbo that was with defoe and been already around half the spurs team, they all knew about her but he got lost in the chest
@@thatsthejobbb8587bad horrible sweat her

Being with models is never a wise idea as they're generally superficial. Be with a real woman who's average or slightly above average and you've got yourself a keeper. 👌
Jamie O Hara
My opinion of you has chabged
Very emotional and very raw and incredible insighht of someone's life.
There's a story behind every single person
And we should stop hating and judging and understand instead
People too quick to make opinions on people they don’t know! Good luck for your future Jamie
Loved that
Respect Jamie 🩵🤍
I listen to Jamie and Cundy most nights on talkSport, top show
Alot of men go though the same but us men don't get help.
Lloyds took more lengths than michael phelps ...
Respect Jamie you’ve made the to radio spot ya own !!!!!
Giving millions to someone who is financially is basically a death sentence
Good luck in life Jamie you deserve it!!!
Respect !!!
Didn’t pay your dad’s mortgage for him ! Wow
Danielle L finished he’s football career. She was my next door neighbour in SW when start dating Jamie (plenty more celebs prior him btw).
Absolutely respect this as a human. Listen to Jamie daily on radio and love him and his personality. Absolutely top bloke and fair play to it all. The money and fame must be so hard at a young age just shows how much support you need around you.
Jamie's a good man
I’ve never understood why he got so much hate. Always thought he was a better than decent player. I’m glad he’s doing well and wish him continued success
Max respect to your Jamie. Honest and real.
Jamie was a pretty good player, he is damn funny on Talksport and I wish him well!
Jamie we love u from Liverpool
Works for talksport. Kelvin Mackenzie started that. Any scouser who listens to that is a rat. It’s the s*n on radio
Cant stand ex well paid people whining about how they funked it. I was poor and i still am. Cry me a river
Do something about it then?
That’s your own fault then
Nope I live in Thailand with a great family, good food and zero respect for so called celebrities that whince it out...
Hangers on will always mug you off. This is where you find out who your real friends are
Thanks for sharing your journey the Putney pirlo
Think about all the idiot moves you made back as a teen and in your twenties as a young man, now imagine that but with the pressure of being a celeb, everyone hanging off ya, cameras following you everywhere and more money than you could ever spend. Now imagine how hard it must be. Lord knows I made my mistakes, take balls to be honest and have the ability to reflect on the mistakes of youth. All the best to O'Hara for the future, he's doing well at Talksport and saw him talk at Bescot, was class. Good luck to him
Never mind Jamie, you have your Man City top to keep you happy.
If you ever lose your mum I hope you have more than a piece of coloured material to get you through , absolute shitshow.
Top man 👍
Gets a lot of stick this bloke but what a down to earth humble guy he is
👏👏👏👏
Bang average as a footballer and horrible as a talksport pundit, but amazing life story.
Big up yourself Jamie, top lad you are!
Whilst I have sympathy for him losing loved ones, he still hit a woman and a teenager. A lot of the crap that's come his way is of his own doing. Also he was a bang average player and is a terrible "pundit"
Seems like a decent bloke - and that's coming from a Gooner. He was proper cringe on Love Undercover though. He'll be watching that through his fingers😂
They all say they wanted to go. Well here we are.
Interesting interview. Nice production. I don’t mind O’hara but that liverpool bit sounded and looked like a lie 😂
All those big clubs he named was a lie. Only one I believed was Wimbledon 😂
Sad bit maybe he should think about people's mental illness when he verbally abuses other people with his comments
Used your experience to work for a great club. Clubs need such trainer to educate young players now.
I always like people what you see is what you get no nonsense i think that's why i get on with London people ☘️
I went to school in Dartford leigh ctc
People castigate these young footballers for losing their way a bit, but it must be hard having all that money and fame from such a young age.
I didn't know dapper laughs was a footballer
Top bloke ❤
Fair play Jamie
You’re great on SS and TS 👍
He was actually a brilliant player. Could have gone far
No he wasn't he was bang average at best.
Poor Jamie had the privilege too be a pro footballer all the money Danielle Lloyd as his wife what a hard life. Get a grip
Shut up Vicki. People like your are the exact reason for men bottling things up and not speaking about their problems. 🐄🐄🐄🐄
Spurs fan met Jamie years ago at the old white Hart Lane, great player and always tried in Every match. Top geezer
He was an okayish player but definitely not great
No wonder you never win a major trophy.
Great player? Hahahahahaha
