I have a 1944 GPW jeep. Bought a complete winter canvas kit from John & Mary Worthing Canvas in the UK. Comes with roof top, side curtains that seal the rear section & full canvas doors. I found you don't need a heater because the heat from the engine & exhaust system heat the cabin really well to the point I was getting cooked inside on long trips. Worthing does an excellent job, apparently there a few different types of winter kits made during the war. 👍🏻👋 🇦🇺

Dude! The moment you made the changes you did you destroyed a legend, but your work appears excellent! Best of luck! Our one-owner 1946 CJ-2A is a daily driver, and completely stock, from day # 1.

      "Dude!"
How do you know that wasn't a basket case that has been restored with new reproduction body?
Do you have any idea how many 'changes' were made to these by overseas depots and by soldiers, themselves, during WW2?

A true piece of art. The necessary additions that you have made to a Jeep have added beauty to it and has become more practical. There are two comments, the first of which is the color of the interior mirrors, which must take the color of the car. Secondly, the position of the wipers must be adjusted, change their color to the car's color. Conclusion How much is this masterpiece and how can I buy one replica.

Yes, we had that made special to fit our longer jeep. But they are made for the WWII jeeps.

*edited* (I had the price incorrect.) Allied Forces Canvas in the UK made the complete top enclosure. The complete enclosure is $2002 and the bag for the doors and side curtains is $152.

A tip from the manufacturer suggests that installing the curtain is easier if you attach the curtain to the rear of the top, then work your way toward the door opening attaching the upper turn buttons, and sliding it over the "P" bracket last.
