âą HUGE RC WWII AMTRAC LV...
âą RC 1/6 scale World War...
Early in the war, the British regulated a system of vehicle markings that they had created before the war and continued to evolve and administer after the war began in 1939. As the British and Canadian armies grew to meet the demand for new and different types of formations, the need for unique systems of identification also arose. In May 1940, a memorandum noted that:
To ensure efficient traffic control the following signs are necessary:
(a) Divisional Sign.
(b) Unit Sign.
(c) Bridge Classification Sign.5
For blackout driving, the rear axle housing of some vehicles was painted white. On other vehicles a white disc was mounted underneath the rear of the vehicle so as to be visible to drivers following behind. Some units painted their unit serial on this disc in black to further aid in recognition. On later model vehicles, these discs were illuminated by a light controlled separately by the driver. In England, after VE-Day, and even during hostilities, some units painted other prominent areas of vehicles white to aid in recognition at night, usually on the outer edges of the vehicle so as to make passing safer, to recognize the silhouette of the vehicle, or make protuberances obvious, such as side view mirrors, safety handles, etc. This one replica of the jeep the Canadian use in WWII. - Jak na to + styl
Old dairy farmers like us make dam good model builders! Great work Lorenzo!
William your 100% right Thanks
sorry wasn't finished,I hit the wrong button. I have had a dragon jeep for a few years and was thinking about selling it when I saw your video on how to make an rc jeep using the 4wd off road buggy. So I plucked up the courage to build one myself.I sat and looked at it for a few days before picking up the hacksaw and biting the bullet and starting it.I changed a few bits and pieces like single shocks with 80wt oil and 1/8 scale off road buggy springs and different wheels and tires etc but the end result is the same, utterly fantastic.Rides great, looks great, details are great.I LOVE IT and thanks to you for your build video and your knowledge you made it look really easy.A wee bit harder in real life but nonetheless satisfying .My jeep now has pride of place in my living room :) So again thank you.Regards,Mike
Mike it is a very rewarding story for me and I feel great for what you did because now I have another friend in the 1/6 scale ww2 rc community, great achievement my friend and welcome to my world.Let`s keep contact. Thank you Mike

***** Muchas gracias a mi amigo.
Great job. The truth I admire your skill, because I'd be afraid to just start breaking of the new vehicle, and I would not know if the end could do something or could not take advantage. Really excellent. Receive a greeting, friend.
Thank you my friend.

+Roland Hernandez Thank you my friend
eres increible te quedo genial saludos desde colombia
+Jose Eduardo muchas gracias Jose
Awesome vid buddy
Thank you Buddy.
Absolutely beautiful work. The only thing that doesn't seem to "fit" (IMHO, of course) is the bright bluish lights under the headlights. Seems to me a dim yellow/amber would look more natural. But just a great job!! ..... :-)
Your 100% right yellow light will look more realistic if you have a chance look to my first jeep that i build this one got it all let me know what you think
