Very very nice. Those ammo boxes really did it. and the camo net. I used to drive a BV202 in the military, and we had the camo net arranged on top of the back wagon so we rolled it out to the sides, and back, and to the front without having to mess with the antennas. Worked like a charm, and was fast too.

@@REDBEARDOFFROAD very cool. Thanks, I’ll be on the lookout for it. I have a 1963 M38A1 and I would love to try to fabricate a similar thing. Cheers

Very clean job! I'm sure it was a big project! Could you please tell me where you got the tow hitch from? Thank you! (subbed)

Nice. I've got a 1955 M38A1. Its got a few minor differences, one being that it is color is brown. I was told it was because it was a USMC vehicle??

Having owned several models of classic jeeps. Jeeps just aren’t jeeps anymore. Look at a ww2 era MB, or a CJ2A. Those things are tiny! The m38a1 and CJ5 are large compared to them. And yet they’re still pretty small. Compared to a jeep of today. Bring back the small 4x4’s with no frills!

At least the 50 plus yr old jeep starts. The wrangler will be Chinese soup cans in 50 yrs. Hell maybe 20yrs

@@REDBEARDOFFROAD my 54 3b fires up with a quick step on the starter button. My 69 cj5 takes a few turns to fire. My wife's 99 tj has a sweet 4L but she cranks until the computer says go. Only the tj is rusting. All three have been Colorado rigs the their whole lives. The 3b will still be running in another 50yrs. Sorry but the Dodge /Fiat motor in the wrangler has a 25yr service life brought to you by the bean counters and engineers of our modern manufacturers. They don't even galvanize the bodies anymore! New vehicles (regardless of manufacturer) are just not built for multi decade service life.
