I've own 2 Ford's and 3 Titans, The Titan has always been a better truck, it just didn't have the recognition. It drives and handles similar to a car but can take anything you throw at it. I'm speaking from the last two being PRO-4X editions. I took my older Titan mudding in 2013 and it was the only 4WD that could pull a brand new half submerged Jeep Rubicon out of the small pond they tried to go through. They were talking a lot of crap after a FX4, a Sierra 4x4 and a Ram 4x4 couldn't pull it out. They kept saying that Japanese truck ain't going to pull sh** out. I was almost believing them. I backed up to the Jeep, a guy snorkeled under and hook the bottom of the Jeep with my retractable tow cable, I stuck it in 4WD, barely gave it gas and pulled it out so fast I kept going because I didn't think it was out. After that, a couple people I knew went and got a Titan. That was before they added the extra hp to the 5.6, now it's a beast to be reckon with. Who would go buy a 3.5 ltr turbo raptor for $80-100k when you can buy a PRO-4X decked out between $48,000 and $53,000? Sure, you hear, oh, it's got blablabla horse power and this tow capacity and then you say, but it sounds like a go cart..lol.. I'm not trying to hurt the feelings of a team Ford alumni but let's get real, if you actually knew how cheap a Ford is built compared to most others and the high profit margin Ford makes which is really why they do well annually profit wise, you would get sick.

I agree, if Ford was so good, why would they have less of a warranty and powertrain? I think all the commercials they put out sell their trucks. While their engines and body parts get cheaper they continue to go up in price so they can have more money to advertise and fool more people.

Yes the only trim worth considering. Still wish they had gone a little more aggressive with the styling. Should have gone with the warrior concept. Cash starved Nissan probably did not have enough money to make that happen. But the Pro 4X does the most with the changes for 2020.

So, you want a truck to stroke your ego? My truck can out tow your truck type mantra while never towing on a daily basis. A lot of people don't ever tow a trailer with their truck at all. All half ton trucks from the big 5 (Toyota, Nissan, Ram, Ford, GM) will suit 95% of most truck buyers needs these days. Only the 5% pickup owners will actually do some heavy towing. And those people are more than likely will step up to a 3/4 ton or 1 ton truck for their towing needs.

I'll give you my unbiased opinion. I bought a new F150 a year ago with the base 3.3L V6. I love it. The thing I like about the F150 is there are many more engine options and configurations than other trucks so you can buy what you want. Personally I prefer simple. Mine has an actual key, which I much prefer over push button start because keys are much easier to maintain. The 3.3L is an excellent non turbo engine that is simpler, and perfect for me since I don't have to do any heavy towing. No I'm not saying Ford is better than anybody else, but right now it's what I prefer. I owned a GMC Sierra with the 5.3L previously, and was happy with it, but fuel milage is much better with the 3.3L of course. Is the Titan better? maybe for somebody, but not for me.

Looks like F150 is still a better deal than Titan. On the other hand, I think Titan XD is overall (price vs payload and towing for a similar trim) better than F150.

the base trim trucks go to the f150, the high end trims go to the titan. Also when doing these reviews, you should note if you can put hanging files in the console.

As an owner of a 2021 Titan Pro 4X and having owned ..Rams..F150s..Silverados my Titan is far superior only bested by Toyota Tundra and probably just as much or more America content then all the big 3.

Does it blow spark plugs out of the block? Or have a death shudder? Or when the water pump leaks, does it drain into the oil pan and destroy the engine? If not, you win Datsun.

$81K for this truck in Canada with payments of $1167 per month for 84 months for a grand total of $98K for a half ton truck. Yet again these will flop in sales compared to everything else. Who on earth is spending almost a $100K on a half ton truck nowadays.

Wonder if they replaced the plastic timing chain tensioner that goes at 60k, and it’s direct injection which will cause problems and more money even in maintaining it. Ford had dual injection to prevent the carbon buildup

They are already at the dealership. The pricing is very attractive and competitive. Closer to the price of the top of the line version of Toyota tundra that's very clever. Undercuts the big three with huge discount pricing, so feels very strong start. Tundra is probably sturdier built truck from years of perfecting the same truck.
