I took on the workout challenge to train and diet like Australian actor Chris Hemsworth from Marvel's "Thor" and "Avengers Endgame" using his new Centr Power Muscle Building Program. 2020 did a number on me. Every single person reading this in some way shape or form has been affected by the pandemic. Gyms were closed for 12 months in NYC. My mental health went down the gutter. I was eating like absolute shit. I let my personal grooming go. I stopped posting consistently on CZcams and went through a pretty brutal break up..it was the lowest point of my 31 years. My physical form was a direct reflection of what was going on inside my mind. You need to totally break down the old before you can rebuild the new. 12 pounds of muscle gained and 10.5 pounds of fat lost in 10 weeks working out with the new Centr Power Program

Eating nothing but chicken is terrible even as a protein source. You need a balanced diet. That cliché diet is entirely devoid of healthy fats and will ruin your health.

Everybody loves a come back. I am 57 and lost fifty pounds before the pandemic and kept it off. I don't work out like you but I do swim and intermittent fast. This inspires this old guy to take things to the next level.

Glad to hear you share your struggles. I was coming out of a bad place coming into the pandemic but the pandemic ground on and knocked me back mentally and emotionally. I still don't have the zip required to get myself back up on that horse for more than a few weeks at time. But this has at least giving me reassurance that I'm not alone.

I just moved in with some pretty swole guys and we have an amazing outdoor home gym that I’ve using 3-4 times a week. They’ve got me on workout plans and cross fit things so it feels good to be on a similar path as you Erik! Love it!

I know the feeling. I went from 7% body fat, running an OCR 5 times in a day, feeling great, looking great, etc. It all went to crap and it's embarrassing because I used to be a certified master trainer. A few years later and I'm digging my heals in and getting back into shape. This video is inspiring and the meals look fantastic! What can I do to get involved, lol.
The worst feeling is when you lose your gains and fitness, because you know you are going to have to start over and you still remember how strong & fit you were. For me it's the hardest to start again, but the most important aspect is just to start. The first 2 weeks is the hardest, but it's the most important.

Nice video man. I wish I could do all these exercises, but I am still really fat and unflexible. Have been trying so hard recently though. Going to gym every day, and I got great meal plan from Next Level Diet. I hope I will slim down fast so I could start with calisthenics. I believe in myself, that's the most important thing IMO.
im in the same boat man but just go through with it if your doubtful just do it its gonna be hard but once youve achieved your goal your going to be thanking the past you for all the hard work he put in JUST DO IT
keep at it man! remember that you shouldn't compare yourself to what you see in the fitness industry. Much of what you see is physiques attained by unnatural means. It starts with a calorie deficit and I would recommend doing compound workouts like squats and deadlifts. A great channel to look at is Jeff Nippard, he gives very solid advice.
Just keep going forward if you make a mistake try to forget it. I've seen one mistake sabotage all the great hard work people have done! Good luck Prayers

hey erik, firstly would like to say what a transformation truly inspiring and you completely convinced me to join centr. I have watch this video thousands of times I think everyone is fed up of me watching it so much 🤣. I've looked around the app and noticed the workout on the spreadsheet you showed was in the intermediate version, and then when the program launched you showed the advanced section so I would like to quickly ask did you start with intermediate then move over to the advanced section. cheers mate love these vids and would love to see more cents transformations and dieting vids like this

Erik, thank you for such an honest and to the heart video sharing both your personal battles as well as your exercise routine. I wish you the best and hope you keep moving forward. That's all we can do especially in times we're in. I recently went to the doctor because I've been experiencing chronic fatigue throughout the day and just not feeling like a normal guy. I find out that my testosterone levels where just below 300. I'm in my early 40's and like you I had a lot of personal battles over the past 3 years that made it very difficult to just get out of bed in the morning. The doctor started me on 1ml of testosterone injections every 14 days. I want to go back to the gym but I won't join until I can at least dedicate working out at home for one month straight! Do you think that I'll see some muscle growth working out with the aid of the testosterone I was prescribed?
@ErikConover: I feel you man!! 2020-early 2021 was the darkest, worst year of my life! Had to have 2 back-to-back spinal surgeries to repair a torn disk and nerve root. I then spent 8 days in the hospital in early 2021 with a pseudomonas infection (penicillin-resistant) because of the surgery and 4 weeks after that with a PIIC line ( permanent IV) in my arm having to do antibiotic infusions every 8 hours. We lost my father-in-law in Dec 2020 and that with everything caused me to gain over 80 lbs! After being medically cleared this month ( from all the items above) I am in week 2 of Centr Power and LOVE IT! One question; for the 10-week challenge did you use the recipes in the Centr Fit app? Keep up the good work man !!

I annoyingly had a brain hemorrhage last year at the age of 22 and have been trying my hardest to get fit again after learning to walk again. Been really tough, but there's no better feeling than seeing progress 💪🏽
