Steven Tyler was 17 years old when he wrote this. Truly amazing

" You gotta Lose to know how to win " .. ALL THESE YEARS, NEVER KNEW, WOW🎉
BOSTON STRONG 4/15/2013
Em sampled this in Song for the Moment 🔥 Steven Tyler performed at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction.
A couple of other Aerosmith songs you should really check out are "Sweet Emotion" and "Don't wanna miss a thing" for sure.
that was amazing, luv this tune... sounds better live...
Livin On The Edge is a really good one too!
almost nobody talks about the last 2 rep notes... thata yr EKG... lites out.
No speaker on earth can play this loud enough 👍
Loved this song since I was born
Love Aerosmith ... If you haven't done crazy yet do "crazy " also "dont wanna miss a thing"... Steven tyler's daughter is in the video she's the dark haired girl Liv Yyler
You should hear the cranberries zombie if you’ve never heard it before
This reminds me of when I heard Aerosmith for the first time back in the 80s. My mom was a strong hippie, listening to Bob Dylan, Jimi Hendrix, Beatles, Jethro Tull and so forth in the studio, but its was in my dad's garage that you heard heavy rock like ACDC, ZZ Top, Rolling Stones, Aerosmith, Santana, Jeff Beck, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin on full blast.
Aerosmith rocks for decades
My absolute favorite Aerosmith track. I did it once at karaoke and it took everything out of me in the best way. I grew up listening to album rock in the 70s and I know rock was a young adult at the time and it's really awesome to see you delving into the music I feel is imprinted into my DNA.
Try Aerosmith-Pink
Steven Tyler wrote this when he was 18!
Great job bro! Happy 400! You deserve it! Awesome job!
Get some Marshall’s or Skullcandy’s with the Haptic Bass ,some of the loudest Bluetooth headphones
Arright. So at my high school dances this was the song that let you know to find a girl cus the next song was the last song...Stairway to Haven by Led Zeppelin.
Dude. Check out some devo; Girl you want, Whip it, freedom of choice…
The Clash: London Calling, Rudie can’t fail, Rock the casbah
Sex Pistols: God Save the Queen, Anarchy in the UK, My Way
Old white dude here. I first heard Aerosmith and this song when I was 15 or 16 some 50 years ago back in the mid 1970s. Me and 2 friends had just come back to class after smokin' a big fattie at lunchtime, and someone put this in...tripped me right the F out dude !!....been a fan ever since. From the same timezone...try GOLDEN EARRING's song VANILLA QUEEN. Your musical mind will be LAID TO WASTE. Incredibly intricate arrangement even by todays standards and TRIPPY AS F.
Aerosmith's "Same Old Song and Dance" is another great banger you should check out!!
Steven Tyler… my favorite male vocalist of all time
Chk out
"DONT WANT TO MISS A THING"
Every time I look in the mirror, all these lines on my face getting clearer.
The past is gone, it went by, like dusk til dawn.
Isn't that the way? Everybody's got their dues in life to pay.
I know nobody knows, where it comes and where it goes.
I know it's everybody's sin, you got to lose to know how to win.
Half my life's in book's written pages.
Live and learning from fools and from sages.
You know it's true. All the things . come back to you.
Sing with me, sing for the year, sing for the laughter, sing for the tear.
Sing with me if it's just for today, maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away.
Sing with me, sing for the year, sing for the laughter, sing for the tear.
Sing with me if it's just for today, maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away.
Dream on, dream on, dream on, dream until your dream comes true.
Dream on, dream on, dream on, dream until your dream comes through.
Dream on, dream on, dream on, Dream on, dream on, dream on,
Sing with me, sing for the year, sing for the laughter, sing for the tear.
Sing with me if it's just for today, maybe tomorrow the good Lord will take you away.
Classic....keep It alive sir!
for another rock banger i'd recommend Slither by Velvet Revolver. a hip-hop song i think would be a good reaction is no pidgeons by sporty thieves, the male response to TLC's no scrubs. for a funny video, i recommend iain and deanna by flight of the conchords, a new zealand comedy duo that perform original songs during their sets. they had a show on hbo in the early 2000s and did a HBO special a few years ago that is hilarious. they're purposely kind of clueless musicians with weird, hilarious songs and it's so great if you can catch the vibe.
Another song that popped into my head is the Shanty version of Rockstar by Nickleback. Look up SeaShany Rockstar. it's FUUUUUN
Unbelievable u haven't heard this epic song. Steven Tyler lead singer. I don't want to miss a thing.
Alice In Chains-Layne Staley killer vocals ! Would/Man in the Box- Nutshell- Down in a hole-Them Bones start with that ! I see a rabbit hole for ya !!
My guy looking like Medusa. Get a cut bro sheeeeesh 😮
Interestingly enough, this is the only song where Steven Tyler uses his natural singing voice. His "normal" singing voice is an affectation.
Wow.. really? I guess I haven't listened to them enough.
