This song "live" is unreal! Steven Tyler is a Rock-God and still sounds this good.
This song came out in 1973. It was like Aliens landed with music like we’d never heard before. It’s still beyond amazing!
Seeing Mollyboy react to good stuff when you know something is coming that is going to blow his mind is the best. Halfway through he is loving Steve's voice and i could not help grinning ear to ear waiting for the scream... priceless! Ya got me my boy, i'm subscribed.
Crazy part is he still sounds just as good!! It's unreal!!
Everyone feels the same way the first time they hear that😅
In the 80's Aerosmith did a song with a Hip Hop group named Run DMC. It was one of the first times a Rock Band and a rap group did a music video together. When you get a chance react to "Walk This Way" by RUN DMC. They were the first Hip Hop artists to get inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.
Oh yeah that was great! And nother great one was the Public Enemies together with Anthrax in the song "Bring the noise" :D
Yes they did. And it was ahead of it's time. But it really did suck A$$. 😂😂
Pains me to say it, but the Run DMC version was better than the original
@QBTO Was not close to being better than the original. Did you grow up in the 70's? If not than that explains it.
Yes but why even bring that up when he hasn't even explored their classic 70's material.
Next Toys in the Attic.
Eventually react, after at least 4 or 5 classic 70's tracks.
One of the all time greatest rock songs!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Check "Sweet Emotion", "Walk This Way", "Lord of The Thighs", "Seasons Of Wirher", "No More No More" that are all great songs from Aerosmith.
you will definitely like the first two that @mikeb36240 mentioned. Steven Tyler is spitting bars in those two. 😄
All great songs, I love Mama Kin also
Check out the calibration for Walk this way with Run DMC and Arrowsmith. First rock rap calibration music video
Early Aerosmith from their first four albums is the best.
Welcome to the 1970’s young one!!!! AC/DC, Aerosmith, and sooooo much more!!!!! You have soooooooo many rabbit holes 🕳️ to go down!!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 This came out in 1973 when I was 12 and have been rocking out to them ever since!!!! Just like AC/DC!!!!! Keep going hombre you will become a head banger yet!!!!! Hell try Sweet Emotions next. You can’t go wrong!!!! So says Austin Tx!!!! 🎸🎸😎🍸
That's called a 'Stank Face', young dude. Love it!
MollyBoy, I just love your reactions. You have a beautiful, sensitive and curious soul.
Aerosmith .. I was a Jr in high school when I first got into their music. Old Aerosmith, the classics. Good music to cruise to with the windows down. As usual, I love your reaction! Keep reacting to the old stuff, it hits right in your soul.
Try 50 years ago, 1973. These are the bands that shaped the sound of latter-day rock bands that came after.
This is an all-time classic. Still played heavily on classic rock radio and streams.
Still incredible to know that this WASN'T a hit when it was first released
@@neillenet291 apparently the reissue in 1976 broke the top 10. All I know is that in the mid-70s seems like it was on the radio every time you turned it on. Particularly FM.
Welcome to one of the best bands of all time... and the Demon of Screamin'.
Aerosmith songs are in a lot of movies and tv shows too
One of my favorite bands! I have seen them 4 times in concert. They have a huge catalog. They have had hits in 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000. I love their early work Sweet Emotion, Back In The Saddle and Train Kept A Rollin, but also their later hits Jaded, Janie's Got A Gun and Crazy.
Th e thing i find so amazing about this song is he wrote this song about aging and not letting your dreams pass you by when he was a teenager. I believe he wrote this when he was 17 yrs old before the band released their first album. Masterpiece. I loved this song when i was a teen in the 80's but i find it really speaks to me now that im in my late 50's and have had so many life experiences. It means more now than when i first heard it.
This song is so gorgeous it almost hurts listen to it😢😢😢😢😢
Aerosmith - I Don't Want to Miss a Thing (Official HD Video). I prefer their earlier work, but this should attract a lot of viewers.
LOL, I agree...but it's weird and personal, I guess...the movie, the music video, his daughter playing the lead female role, and that I watched Armageddon when it came out as a teenager...almost gives me a better feeling via nostalgia than some of the amazing work they did twenty-some years earlier, before my time...though musically, I too prefer their earlier stuff...
One of the greatest rock songs, ever
The Who at Shepperton "Won't Get Fooled Again" will rock your socks off! Nobody has a scream like Roger Daltry!
You've heard nothing yet, wait until he really starts belting it out! I wasn't disappointed in your reaction! You even replayed the part I thought you would! Awesome stuff, FABOULOUS reaction!
Thank you for the heart, appreciate it!
Released in 1973 - the 80's embraced it so much more.
A Whiter Shade of Pale
I love this! - This one is nearly as old as me, it was released in 1973.
Another excellent Aerosmith song is - Janeys got a gun
Steven Tyler is the lead singer of Aerosmith
Steven Tyler was 17 when he wrote that!
Righteous. 👊...my young friend,... you MUST MUST hear SWEET EMOTION from Aerosmith.
MUST. TRUST YOUR ELDER 💪😎. Steven Tyler is the singer's name. This song came out in the 70s.....77/78....😁
Walk This Way (original soundtrack from the album Toys In The Attic)…and other fan favs: Last Child, Sweet Emotion, Train Kept A Rollin, Lord Of The Thighs, Nobody’s Fault…among many. ORIGINAL STUDIO ALBUM VERSIONS ONLY (Not Live versions or remixes). Dream On (1st album) released in 1973 but didn’t start getting airplay until 1974 or 75. By then they had their fourth album out and suddenly everywhere on the radio was Dream On, Walk This Way and sweet emotion. And besides Zeppelin, which is at the top of most rock ‘n rollers bands list. It was an Aerosmith Summer. PS: Aerosmith had ‘two lives’; before the late 80s and then after their come back of the 90s. (they broke up and reunited and did a famous collaboration with run dmc ). All the hits above are from their early era.
loved watching your reaction when Steven Tyler showed his talent and all you could say was “what the fuck was that”. you making me proud young MollyBoy!!
Youre right, Eminem sampled this for 'Sing for the Moment'
Everyone gets chills the first time they here that iconic scream, the build up to that moment is perfection!
Steve Tyler is the lead singer, this song was released in 1973 and is still considered their signature song. He is the father of Liv Tyler who beat known for playing 'Arwen' in the Lord of the Rings.
This band has so many great tunes and I hope you get to hear them sooner rather than later.
...also Liv played the daughter of Bruce Willis in Armageddon...if you haven't, you should react the theme to that movie, by her father Steven Tyler, the lead singer of Aerosmith...I Don't Want to Miss a Thing...
@@42Mrgreenmanthat’s quite possibly the worst Aerosmith song ever though
Was at his last concert in long island, he damaged his vocals he sang so loud..fuckin killed every song, but might’ve been his last concert..one of the GOATs
I'm 68 and this album came out the year I graduated High School.
I love Steven Tyler's tone in this song. Smooth and smokin. Just amazing talent.👍💯
steve tyler... what a voice
"What the fuck was that" 😳
Exactly ❤
Steven Tyler (frontman for Aerosmith, the one singing this), Slash, and David Grohl performed this one at Howard Stern's birthday in 2014. He's still got it, and it's amazing to watch them perform live.. You will love it.
Sweet emotion!
This is 70s Aerosmith. Then there's 80s Aerosmith, then there's 90s Aerosmith. I think they still released music well into the new millennium too. Fantastic band.
2:26 Yes! You caught that spectacular guitar there! Joe! Since I'm watching your Grunge vids I scrolled back and found this. ❤ I hope soooo much that you hear more Aerosmith. Only Rock group ever, that doesn't have one song that I skip. He, and them, are just badass. What a vibe. And Steven's vocal skills are kinda unmatched. He actually scats. And he's great at it. On "One Way Street". Lhm
That was Steven Tyler, the father of actress Liv Tyler
They were in the 70's up until now 😁
Another band that you should definitely check out if you like unique sounding voices is The Doors. I cannot recommend them enough!
There’s sooo many to choose from.. definitely definitely listen to rag doll, lovin in the elevator, walk this way,Jane’s got a gun,
Please go down the rabbit hole with this group. Their Lives are sooooo worth reacting to. Their videos are entertaining as well.
Thank you for listening to the studio version first here of this song instead of going right to a live performance. Also you might want to consider when first listening to an important song like this or stairway to heaven of listening to a lyric video of it.
My favourite Aerosmith song.. the opening riff is great fun to play on your guitar.. Takes a little practice. "Dream on". Would have been released in the early to mid 1970s
What the fuc was that?🤯I felt that all in my face!😂That's Steven Tyler!🎙🎶🔥
THAT is Steven Tyler's vocals and Joe Perry''s awesome guitar work!
One of the firts song that got me to rock and then Metal in the early 80's 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Steven Tyler (the lead singer) was only 17 when he wrote this song.
That’s crazy!
You have to watch this live at Howard Sterns birthday party. Steven Tyler has amazing pipes!
Next Aerosmith has to be Sweet Emotion.
50 yrs
Saw them live in New Orleans, Louisiana at The Superdome in 1975 and they were amazing!!! Peace!
you are going to love this
THAT , precious young man, is the flippin genius of Steven Tyler (vocals) and Joe Perry on guitar 🎸🎶❣️
🔥🔥🔥 All Around
Sweet Emotion, please!!!
Lol that came out the year I was born
Rock royalty!
Dude you got into his voice so hard 5:09 Ima sub just because of that. 😂 I'm fr... if Steven's voice meant that much to your ears then I wanna watch more. Coz you've got a great ear. 👍 omg you gotta hear him scat. And with the blues. Lhm.
6:42 Lmfao his skills and his tone blew you away!! "Wtf was that!?!" 😂
Pretty sure this is #2 behind Walk This Way as the most played Aerosmith song. Such a staple of the 70's/80's. The musicscape was varied and amazing.
Check out their song Nobody's Fault from the Rocks album. It's a bridge between rock and metal. Written by guitarist Brad Whitford who also plays the solo. Really a heavy Aerosmith song.
Grade 9/ 1973 and saw them in 1987 in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and still sounded the same! 🎉
Watch him perform it live at Howard stern's birthday !! Another level
Genius singer… I love that.
This album is great start to finish, if you want to hear another one of their dark, moody songs that will give you chills check out "Seasons of Wither", their 70s albums are full of killer songs, "Combination", "Chip Away the Stone", "Toys in the Attic", "Nobody's Fault" and "Rats in the Cellar" are all kick-ass rockers.
Hi here is a 70's girl rock band they were called heart two sisters ( Ann and Nancy wilson) hard rock try their song magic man it will blow your socks off. Great vocals and killer guitar solos.
Absolutely amazing female lead singer. Also try Barracuda by them.
Awesome
I think this is the song that Steven Tyler wrote when he was a teenager. Damn talented.
4/9/24, 10:26 p.m.
Cinderella "don't know what you got til it's gone"
Oh my my! Steven Tyler was my first "Crush" ever! I was 10 when i first gotta a gander at him. Anyways, they have so many tunes. Just pick anyone of them. Peace On Ya
Try some 90s Aerosmith… "Cryin" is still one of my favorite songs ever ❤
Check out Nobody's Fault by them. They were bad ass back in their prime
Hi early 70's it seems to be 1973 was the magic year for rock.
Thanks for another great reaction video!! I love this song.. it's at the top of my favs!! I was 8 when this was released and I grew up singing this song. I love Steven Tyler's voice and this band is just at the top!! Be sure and check out some of their live videos of this song!
Man you gotta rewatch this love on the MTV special in 1990. So much better too
Goodness, you have sooooo much to get through from the 70’s& 80’s, good luck 👍☺️
You should watch Dire Straights The earliest live version of The Sultans of Swing . It’s like watching Eddie Van Halen !!
Sweet Emotion and Train Kept A ‘ Rollin. For starters. The catalogue is deep, deep. Fifty years and still rocking, they are. Check them out live in Rio. Tiny crowd….😂
The albums that got me I to Aerosmith were permanent vacation and pump
🙋🏿♀️ Throwing in a request to do some Rush! La Villa Strangiato, Tom Sawyer, The Spirit of Radio. 🤩 But they're actually better Live! Working Man Live in Cleveland or YYZ Live in Rio, for starters! 🤗 We're all waiting down here in the Rush Rabbit Hole, with snacks! 😁🥰🐰
One of my faves by far. Nice reaction man, love this
Hi Aerosmith are in the top 10 bands from the 70's. Here are 3 other bands that fit that category
Lynyrd skynyrd
The eagles
Queen
Their are many more great bands from then but nobody beats pink floyd and led zeppelin they were the best both equal in style and quality of composition.
“Sweet emotion”
May be mentioned already. Thus was written by singer SteveTyler as a teenager.
Try Boston, Deep Purple, Toto, Atlanta Rhythm Section, SRV, ZZ top, Kansas, Iron Maiden, Van Halen, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Steve Morse, Santana, George Benson, and your already doing Pink Floyd, that should keep you busy for a while.
Ok, I’ve watched a few of your vids now and I see you going down an epic rock journey! There’s A LOT to discover and I think you’ll notice a bunch of samples from this genre in contemporary music. Anyway, I wanted to recommend one track that I think you’ll dig. The band is called Heart, and the track is Barracuda. I hope you’ll enjoy your musical discoveries!
Credence Clearwater Revival (CCR) Older than a lot of what I've found "Born on the Bayou" most I like. Dr. Hook and the Medicine Show (also old, drug culture) "On the Cover of Rolling Stone" so many others, some of their work was written by Shel Silverstein a poet "Where the Sidewalk Ends" and I believe he was a photographer for Playboy (adult magazine).I really like watching younger reactors from outside the USA and seeing the music live on.
I think this came out in 1970, it was on their 1st album.
🔥🤩
Have a look at the live version of Dream On with Slash.
Check out Ratt, "Lay it down" and "round and round" from the out of the cellar album.
Lead vocals is Steven Tyler. He is the dad of Liv Tyler, the actress.
Love the videos! I think you’d really like the guitars in Scorpions - No One Like You
Dude, that was Steven Tyler. One of the greatest male vocalists to ever walk this planet! I don't wanna make you cry doing a reaction but you need to get the GET Your Wings album and react to Seasons of Wither. OMG so sad but so beautiful. You gotta do it!
52years ago😊😊😊😊
😉 This came out 7th or 8th grade.... 😏 Im old so this is how I figure out when a record was released. 🤔 So this was 73? 74?
#FunFact 😉 Sometimes records stores like Crazy Eddie's would release Albums on the West Coast first. DJs would fly to the West Coast to pick it up, just to be the 1st on the East Coast rocking a particular radio hit in the Clubs! 🥰🐰
Steven Tyler is the Singer his daughter is the main love interest in the movie Armageden
The whole bootleg album is pure class bro
Aerosmith is great deep catalog Sweet emotions is great , you need to check out Ted Nugent cat search fever & Wango Tango & Fred Bear !!! All Bangers , Great Reaction mollyboy !!! 🤘🔥🎸🇺🇸💯...
