Kudos to you for giving her credit and linking her! I hate when folks just recycle material and never credit that original person. Love your positive attitude and happy for your little family!
Thanks so much!
Can you make a list of the best brands that worked the best?
Yes I would love to find a list just written down somewhere!!!
What did u say of all the stuff u needed..
It would have been great to see a close up of the fails w/ those actuals brands along with a close up of the successes with those brands! Otherwise, we are basically having to test them to see what we get!
Totally agree. Seems odd they didn't show close up views of all the results. Really wish they did!
IT WORKS!!!!!! I made a tumbler for my husband. Thank you for bringing this craft and many ways to do pretty tumblers and way so easy!!! ♥
Thank you for filming this process/test Tanner! I etch glass in my craft business and am now considering adding etching tumblers! I always wondered if it was possible! Now the sky's the limit! 🎉 Thank you again, for yet again another amazing informational video! You guys are great! ❤
You are so welcome!
I loved this project video please continue researching and providing our crafting community with these amazing discoveries and new technics to help us achieve our customers goals! I do love your videos and charisma!
Hi Tanner FYI after watching live last night I saw a video where a person was trying to get old paint off of wood and she used Saran Wrap and wrapped it around the wood piece to make the Citrus gel work better. Maybe that would help it on the tumblers that you had a harder time with.
Thanks for sharing!🙂
I also LOVE LOVE LOVE that you took use shopping with you!!!! It reminded me that ya'll are normal people, hee hee (weird I know), but only seeing you on crafting ideas and being usually perfect, going shopping with you, reminde3d me of myself staring at the isles! xoxo
Congratulations on the new Car. Watching your drive to Dollar Tree was my introduction video to you and Makers Gonna Learn! I love this tumbler video. Great Fathers Day gifts!
I love this! I am a resin artist too and use this product to strip coating on some cups, not sure why I never thought to use it with a stencil
“So many people…”. I feel you, Tanner. I feel you.
Yes please, more videos showing this process..
More to come! 🙂
Omg you guys! This is amazing 😍 Australia here 🇦🇺 I have already sourced my citrus strip and can’t wait to put it to the test! Thank you so much for all your very helpful tutorials 🥰
Omg, so excited, can't wait to try this, have so many powder coated tumblers I can try this on. Keep the tutorials coming. Thank you so much.
More to come!😀
Tanner thank you so much for this wonderful crafting idea! I have been using Citrus strip for years to take paint off of so many things, how amazing to know I could use it in this manner! You have inspired so many ideas!
You're so welcome!
Your papaw. Was a smart man. It is what I tell my kids
This was awesome! I love it and will be trying it out. Thank you for doing this tutorial experiment 👍
How funny you are. Always get a cart because we always get more than we come for.
I would like more videos on this subject.
I nearly shot coffee out of my nose watching you shop. I can totally relate. I typically only buy what I can carry, while trying to keep sunglasses on my head as well. We call this the lazy man’s load. 😂 thank you for sharing your awesomeness!!!!
I enjoyed this video, I felt the excitement of the adventure of shopping for the supplies as though I was there with you. So much fun! Thank you for sharing your passion and joy!
Glad you enjoyed it!🙂
Omg 😱 I just told someone yesterday I didn’t know how to make these. Thanks so much for sharing.
Hope you enjoy!😊
I absolutely LOVE these videos of you on the move! They’re so much fun to watch.
So glad!
Your sad face when you found the shelf empty! I loved the video. I will be trying this!
Go for it!
There's an etching cream that you can add die for multi-color too, that works amazing for etching without lazer cutter and that much tape.
Thanks for sharing!
@@MakersGonnaLearn i love your personality. First time I watched you. Friendly advise from one streamer to another. You should get a camera in front on you as well as above looking down at an angle d I wn at your project, so we can see up.ckose everything you experience after you edit. Keep up the great work. I wasn't aware of citristrip. I learned something new or at least I want to. Thanks for sharing!
@@MakersGonnaLearn ypu could also get specific drill bits for a dremmel and etch in a stencil dry carefully.
Keep your wonderful ideas coming
OMG! I loved this and am planning on trying it as soon as I can pick up the materials. Already have the Oracal and some tumblers in the cabinets I want to experiment on. Please keep more videos with this content coming, I’m so excited!!!
So glad you love it!😊
When lasering we clean the cups up with LA Awesome and a Mister Clean Eraser... also... stubborn spots use brake cleaner on a qtip... the scratch pad will scratch or wet sand the surfaces and make them hazy. Love your channel 😘
This is such a great find! I just found you and have subscribed! Why do you film from so far away? I watch on my iPad and there’s a lot of background. It would be nice to see all of the crafting process closer up.
I love this design the layering is so beautiful. When I first saw this before seeing it was vinyl it look like it was infusible ink the colors so vibrant. 💚🖤🧡❤️🥰
Glad you love it!
I LOVED this video! I am excited and love how excited you get about things!
So glad you loved it!🙂
Love, love, love this video. Please do more. Can’t wait to try this.
More to come!🙂
OMG Tanner! This video is awesome! This is my next weekend craft project. Please make more videos using this process! I am so excited about this!!!!
Enjoy!
this! this was the reason I bought my maker 3. I was so sad to learn I couldn't make etched tumblers back then. Definitely going to try.
Enjoy!
YOU CEASE TO AMAZE ME!!!! ALL YA'LL FROM MAKERS GONNA LEARN!!! MY CRICUT WOULD STILL BE IN THE BOX IF IT WASN'T FOR YA'LL!!! XOXO DANIELLE
You are my favorite craft teacher
Aww, thanks so much!
Definitely want to see more videos on this method of etching! Thank you!
More to come!🙂
Love this so much! Please continue to do videos! I’m going to get supplies today after work!
Yay! Thank you!
Thanks Makers Gonna Learn team! This is very helpful and serves as added items to craft with 😊
Glad to hear it!
Great video. Loved it. You made me want to try this. A Tip for you when checking if it is ready check where you finished applying the citrus strip, Not where you started applying. If that makes sense.
Thanks for the tip!
This a great find and technique using the Citrus Strip gel. Never heard of it before your video. More videos are needed. Thank you.
You're welcome!
Love this testing video!!!! Bubba tumblers from Walmart are my favorite. Not sure if it would work since they have more of a rubbery type finish. Can't wait to see more of what you do!
I have just done this once and it turned out great on a fifty/fifty!!!
I wish you would list the brands that worked in the comment section. And did more closeups of the results. I really loved this video.
Thank you, Tanner and team! I can’t wait to try this!
Thank you for watching! :D
I have done that a few cups.. love it.. mainstay works great
Good to know!
I’d love to see a livestream and more about this technique!
Great video Tanner, thank you!
NOW I know what to do with all the clearance powder coated water bottles I purchased years ago...but what's most impressive to me??? That Walmart...so well stocked!!! We're lucky if we have an end cap of Cricut products and forget spray paint ... I need to move South...😃
Yes I want more videos on this. I will try and find them tomorrow
Make more videos on this! I'm so excited to get into this crafting project 😍
More to come!
Tanner can you please do a video of you doing the Engraving on the cups ... I loved this video ...
WOW! What a game changer! Thanks!
You're welcome!🙂
I want/need more! 😁 I am a real novice and old as dirt, so need close and detailed slow 🥴
Yes!!!Yes!!!! More videos on this please
Love this! More videos please!! I have all the stuff & can't wait to try it asap
More to come!
Love this idea
So glad!
Love this thank you for sharing this with us!!
You are so welcome!
Your personality is infectious! You seem so happy to be crafting. Thanks for sharing and I most def subscribed. :)
Thank you!!!
Enjoyed this video!
Amazing!! Definitely trying this out!
Have fun!
OMG ... I'm so excited right along with you
Woohoo!!!
The problem with using an abrasive scrub pad, is that you have now scratched your chrome surface. That was I see in your tumblers and I saw in mine. Using a cloth or paper towel is so much better. Mr. Crafty Pants uses a test run method on the bottom of the tumbler first. This is what has worked for me.
Thank you so much Tanner your always so information.
My pleasure!
❤ Love this (new subscriber). Can you (pretty please) do an up close shot of all the cups w their labels in the future so we can screen shot. THANKS sooo much for this great idea. I'm new to crafting & need all the help I can get 😃🤯
We will! 🙂 Thanks for watching!
First, I want to go driving and shopping with you!!! God bless your Papaw and your Mamaw!
I love your tips, especially, is there anything holding you back from perfection?
I'm also loving that we see you working real time and that you show wins and not really wins.
Could we please see more close ups of you work and results? I've subscribed and am excited to see what else you have in store!
OMG!!! I NEED TO LEARN ALL THIS TO ADD TO MY BUSINESS!!!!
Perfect timing for this technique. I just got an order for several cups 🥤 last night and I was looking to do something like this. Lucky for me my husband is an assistant manager at Home Depot lol. I wish you would of showed the results close up at the end so we could actually see how clean they really were or weren't. Thank you for trying all those cups for us... im going to Walmart now. Thanks for this video byeeee! Oh BTW I love your new Tesla!! And where did you get your big wood top work table? I couldn't find one so I ended up getting a 4'x6' steel table from Uline for my studio. I really wanted a wood top like yours though 😪 it's beautiful
Wow! This is so exciting.
It is!🙂
I started with a Walmart mainstays and it worked perfect
O MYLANTA! I thought I was the only one who called Walmart Wally World 🤣 People here in New Jersey look at me like I have 5 heads 😂 Love it ❤️

Great work here. However, I found it difficult to see many shots including your crafting process and then the final results. I would have liked to see close ups with brands labeled for each tumbler.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Thank you very much!! Yesterday my younger daughter and I received Engraved Yeti thumblers from my older daughters. They know that I don’t have a laser but thanks to you now I have an alternative way to make it. Of course I’m so happy with my gift but it blew my mind watch your video today! Can't wait to try this!! Thank you so very much for the super fun video. Love these kind of videos. Also, would love to see all the tumblers up close please. Thank you!
Really enjoyed your video thank you. Perhaps you might want to consider showing close ups of each logo to show the fine detail of the finish product and the weeding too scrapping. It was a bit hard to see the detail and I trusted what you were describing instead.
Thanks team. I am following your channel now.
Tanner, I would love to learn more about this project. Thanks Lenore
