Y’all - love the technique, but please link to the original TikTok video & channel in the description so you can give the creator the credit they deserve. I know you guys have put in a lot of work in the testing - but the method was developed by someone else, and they deserve credit as well. And not just in an off-hand comment - but in site traffic. 😘

Great Video. I'm reminded how we inherit terms from our parents, and keep using them. I was confused when you talked about Brillo pads - wondering why you would use steel wool infused with soap! Then I realized you were using what we always called Scotch Bright pads.

My house was burning more than a year ago and we have to find a place while it was being restored. We lived on a farm. The husband was retired fireman. When I was allowed to go in the house to rescue anything, my friend said, "only fifteen minutes." The fumes can be bad enough. I learned. If you don't know for sure, ask the firemen. Don't learn the bad way. Plus my son learned a hard way when he was fussing with something and started a little fire. Use a mask and not just to sneeze on others.

And does the other paint stipper work?

It does not work well on powder coated tumblers. Only shiny painted ones!! Beware. Notice she was having a hard time with the black one. So did I. The pink one was easy , just paint. Same Scenarios for us also.

Watched the video last night. I was wondering if this would work on a sublimation tumbler? I was thinking of doing a full coverage pattern and then do the etching on top of that for a name or design. Thoughts?

LOVE THIS IDEA! Especially if you decided after Sublimation that you wish you would have done another design in the full coverage pattern...

There is formaldehyde in Magic Erasers. Eww. Gloves are a good idea, and children should not use them.

Hey guys can you use other strippers than Citris Strip ? I have trouble finding that particular stripper. Thank you so much.
