@@Gayndhi That's not how gifts work. At all.
@@owltakizawa ok, i just read through some of the american terms and you are right. there the person really cant collect the given gift back. in my home country you can collect a gift back incase money gets tight and you could use it more than the other person, which would be the case in that post, where the entiteled person is tight on money and needs a christmas present, whereas the person with the dead baby doesnt need the baby stuff anymore (atleast for the time being)

This lady deserves to be shamed, and Christmas is not an excuse to treat anyone horribly; especially how she is treating a grieving mother!
She really sounds like a sociopath.
If something awful like this happened to someone I knew and they wanted to burry their son in something I got for them, i would be honored that the item meant so much to them and their son liked the item.

I might look into this. My granddaughter has lots of prom type fancy dresses. Some are in beautiful pastels from her stint of pageant work(she was first-runner up and had to go to every opening/parade etc... we got dresses up the hooha)

That's the part that got me. 'Thinking about how rude your messages were' while berating a grieving mother. Over things that you just plan on second-hand gifting to someone else. Yup. Totally clear who the rude one is here.
Sheâs busy wondering how to scam a grieving mother out of pocket change
Is it only me thinking why this woman NEEDS her 7 dollars back? I don't know hun, if you can afford to come meet for a cuppa then I'm sure this won't make a scratch in your wallet.
I was thinking that she wasn't even going go give the baby toys to that other friend. I think she was just going to return them for a refund.

That first story, when that CB said âseeing as youâve been unwell and had bad news â OMG , I have no words for this woman, no one and I mean no one understands that level of grief unless theyâve lived through it themselves. No empathy, no compassion.
That woman asking for baby gifts back from a mother who lost her baby is one of the most disgusting people I have ever heard of. I hope everyone in their town or city knows what she did. That is truly one of the most heartless things I ever heard. I can't believe how awful some people can be.
The choosing begger in this story makes me hate humanity a LOT more
The baby one?
@@elijahs.824 Yup. I had a friend who lost a baby and it broke my heart to see her so sad. She currently has three little boys and they're all adorable
I view things with such lack of empathy as monsters, not people. Humans can go into either the "people" or "monster" category. And a horrid thing like that woman is not deserving of being called a person.
If you want a little faith in humanity restored I was playing Among Us on a discord server the other night with a bunch of strangers. The group consisted of a couple of rambunctious teenage boys, a shy girl, and me. There kept being weird whistles during the meeting and finally one of the guys goes âCan whoever keeps whistling stop?â
The shy girl pipes up in a sad tone âI have Touretteâs I can mute and just use text chat instead.â
Immediately all the boys start apologizing and telling her âNo! We just didnât realize! Itâs not bothering us! Its not really that fun if you canât jump in to talk or defend yourself during the meetings of this gameâ
During the gap between games they guys were all really sweet and purposefully engaging with her. When a new guy joined the group after that and once again the question about the whistle came up all the other boys jumped to her defense.
I canât really do it justice but it was sweet to me and the entire group sent friend requests over discord so we could play together again. Just listening to the shy and sad sounding girls voice change to an excited and laughing one as they went out of their way to keep her in the conversation made me smile. If a couple of loud and competitive teenage boys can take a breather to help include a stranger so she can have as much fun as theyâre having then maybe the world isnât so doomed

My thoughts on the first story is that if a woman ever did that to me she would very easily find herself on the I will never speak to you again list.
Huh and thats being super generous
Several years ago, my now ex husband and I were friends with two couples, Linda and Joe and Barbara and Ben. We loved Linda and Joe, liked Ben and tolerated Barbara. Barb and Ben were the only couple in our group who had a child and Barbara was quite full of herself about that. Mind you, we were barely in our twenties, while Linda and Joe were a bit older. Linda got pregnant and we were thrilled. Barbara promptly got pregnant a few months later. (Can't lose that spotlight!)
Sadly, Linda's baby died in utero when she was 8 months along. I was at the hospital sitting next to Linda and Barbara plopped herself down in the room, babbling away. (She stayed at the hospital virtually the entire time they were there, despite repeated hints that she needed to leave.) She said to Linda, verbatim:
"What are you going to do with all the stuff you got at the shower? Cuz no one threw me one and I could use it". If she hadn't been pregnant, I swear I would have killed her. After I picked my jaw up off the floor, we added her onto the "no contact" list.

Hello! That was my exact reaction when I got that super long message!
When I heard that line, however, I nearly dropped the dish I was holding!
Those kinds of people give Amino a bad name. . .
Fortunately, I've only interacted with one person who was like this, but she wasn't as bad as she could've been. She was the agent of a community with around 600 (450 when I joined) members, and would just. . . Lie about small real life related stuff (we were never sure she actually owned a horse. . .or that her grandfather/uncle did), trace other members' art, insult people, not credit reference images (or if she did, the links wouldn't go to the right place). She would also try and befriend some of the more talented artists in a effort to get free art. I don't think she ever succeeded.
Fortunately, she got mad enough that she uninstalled Amino. Then someone asked if she could transfer agent status, so she reinstalled the app, transferred the status, and got banned soon after. Good riddance!

That had four of us on voice chat and a text chat running so we could include the rest of the fandom. He kept trying to join the voice group), and every conversation went "hi owo" "hi" "here's my new OC." He would make these public "woe is me" posts when things didn't go his way and would get all dramatic about walking away from fandoms. Exhausting but I thought that's just how he was
I didn't learn til this year that he's a predator. Like making very unwelcome NSFW comments about people's characters, begging for NSFW RPs and art (often from minors, which is the worst part), and other such grossness that I can't even remember. We booted him from our group after he weaseled into a chat he specifically wasn't allowed in and everyone started sharing their experiences. I had no idea about the NSFW shit bc I'm openly asexual and he never tried that stuff with me, but at first I felt so guilty that he could avoid that with me but not the rest of my friends
All this to say - I have zero sympathy for Mr. "Boohoo Nobody Wants To RP or Give Me Art." Nobody wants to do shit with you bc you're toxic (also a caution to people who deal with people like this, don't keep quiet. Tell SOMEONE if you're uncomfortable, please. So you're not suffering in silence like so many of my friends have for YEARS)
Holy crap, I'm so sorry about that.
Considering the stories I've heard, I feel like I've been lucky with the few encounters I've had with disgusting people on Amino, that person being one of them... it breaks my heart that people on amino can be so gross!
I hope everyone in the life of the first choosing beggar absolutely shames her through the rest of her life. Op needs to tell everyone about this
Ok everyone, repeat after me:

Especially when it's the BBC they literally shake people down for a license fee, a fee that's not legally enforceable. I wonder how many people outside the uk have heard of a detection van.
Those first two stories are infuriating, but the Star Trek TNG one makes me feel better knowing that Wil Wheaton has always been an amazing human being.
And pretty unlucky in D&D Dice Rolling
To the mother who lost her child, you will probably never see this, but that lady was the rudest person ever. My mom had 9 children die of either miscarriages or they were too early. I hope you get better soon and everything will be ok.
Well, no wonder he doesnât have many friends. Who wants to be around a negative attitude?
the first post physically hurt to listen to

You would be surprised, but unfortunately that first story is very common. My friends baby was stillborn and a couple of friends kept bugging her if they could have the baby stuff she had. It happened over a year ago but but she still can't bring herself to go through the baby stuff, her bf at the time moved it to the attic and she can't even come around to hold a baby much less go through her daughters stuff and GIVE IT AWAY! Another friend lost her 2 year old to a heart condition and some people did the same! They dont even wait for the kids to be laid to rest before they be asking for their things!
Can't even think of Will Wheaton outside BBT đ€Łđ€Ł Even Sheldon didn't pay him to appear on Fun with Flags đ€Łđ€Łđ€Ł
