Abandoned White Sloth Clings to Stuffed Animal for Emotional Support

- After Ash the baby sloth was brought to the Sloth Sanctuary in Costa Rica orphaned and alone, she clings onto a stuffed animal for emotional support. The Sloth Sanctuary wrote that they often give their rescued sloths stuffed animals to keep them from bonding too much with humans, which will give them a better chance of survival upon release. "[She] clings onto the plush toy 'surrogate,'" while she is fed goats milk from a bottle, the Sloth Sanctuary said. #InsideEdition

Two weeks after the couple found the baby, the mom sloth is almoooooooost at the bottom of the tree. "I'm almost there, my child......" She's in for an unfortunate surprise.

If this sloth was abandoned it's probably because it's solid white. That's a horrible trail to have for their environment. You'd stick out way too much. Eagles (pretty much the sloth's top nemesis) would be able to see that from a mile away. However it's perfect for raising in captivity. This thing is so cute it makes me angry...
