I was still a small boys in 1959 when I first watched Bonanza . From then on, our eyes had been all glued watching this wonderful cowboy tv show...up to its lasting program in the ‘70’s.
I admire so much all of the stars in Bonanza and was affected when each of this, favorite stars of our, one by one passed away.
I thank you for uploading this memorable cowboy tv show. Almost, everyday, i am refreshed to view the bonanza tv series and I never get tired watching it! ...always recalling the episodes with fond memories.....

I liked Bonanza, but my favorite memory only tangentially relates. My church met on Sunday morning, Sunday night, and Wednesday night. It was one of the anchors of my childhood and some of my fondest memories. The preacher was fired up on that particular Sunday night, preaching to beat the band of course. As he preached, he noticed that several of the congregation were quietly checking their watches. Never breaking stride from his sermon..."I know y'all are trying not to miss Bonanza, but your immortal souls are more important!" There were a lot of shocked looks, and sheepish grins...and no more checking watches.

I loved Bonanza! Also Wagon Train, Laramie, Gunsmoke, Branded and of course the Lone Ranger! I grew up wanting to be a cowboy, which was rather difficult here in the UK. Living on pig farms but I had some great locations to act out my imaginary gunfights and 'stunts'. When my dad moved over from pig farming to cattle when I was eight years old, I got the chance to actually 'Head 'em up and move 'em out!' (all the way to the dairy for milking!). I never burnt a map in the name of my Bonanza moments, But show me a big puddle or a stream and I had to gallop through it! (no horse of course!) and in Gloucetershire from the age of three, I discovered my 'Hi Ho Hills' for when I was the Lone Ranger!

I Love watching Bonanza! I watch it everyday along with Gunsmoke, The Rifleman and Wagon Train. By far Bonanza is my favorite! I think it set the bar high for what people are supposed to be like in life and in general. Styles change but most of the slang back then is still in today.

@@camper234 the more I think about it, you’re right. Moreland did make a couple of feature films and Sen Yung got famous for being in a minor role in the show. Underrated is the wrong terminology

Shrek had a few influences one was a French wrestler and Chris Farley which was supposed to be his original voice but passed away before it was made so Mike Myers took over.

We use to rush home from church on Sunday nights to sit in my best friends garage to watch this big ole round tube color TV - See, we wanted to see the Chevy commercial - Pa in the Impala, Adam the vette, Little the Corvair Spyder Convertible and Hoss driving, not sure but I think a pickup. One miute, riding horses across the ranch and the next magically all in new Chevy's riding across the ranch - Great Sunday nights!!!!!

I liked Purnell Roberts because he had a big heart, i would stay up late at night and watch him ask for sponsorships for hungry needy children overseas where he planted himself to personally care for many of them for quite some time as did Sally Struthers.
