The difference with the door is the cut out for the charge connection. Maybe plug the station in before u put the controllers on top

@@MonsterGadgets hi there! Have a question. Seems like my controller isn't charging when using the stand.. the light goes from orange to white and when i turn the controller on it shows medium battery instead of full. Any reason why?
Additionally.. is it okay if i charge the controller with a USB-c connection (with the battery pack installed on the controller)?

Here’s a question I can’t seem to find. Can the series 2/core controller be used with the dual charging station? I wanna get an elite controller but I just wanna know if it’ll charge with a normal charging station and not the one it comes with

Is it really necessary for the rechargeable batteries? Like cant you just put in the normal batteries and charge it?
No it’s not necessary but it’s easier this way since you don’t have take the batteries in/out and it’s always ready to go if you put them on charge when you’re not playing.
How can i know that it is charging and how long it will take to charge?
The night on the unit indicates if it charging or done. Orange means it’s charging. White means it’s done. Unfortunately there isn’t a timer to tell you much time is left while charging.
Do you plug the usb on a port on your house or on the Xbox ?
Idk if you found your answer yet, but you can do it on both or just about anything that has electricity like a computer for example.

@@MonsterGadgets so does the 20 hour useage per charge hold up. Because I remember having venom branded for the Xboxone and after a few Weeks a charge lasted about 1hour.

Try to reset it if you haven’t already and make sure that the the try is in the unlocked position (not pressed in).

Ughh! That sucks. Sorry to hear that! The only other thing I can think of is that to make sure the adapter is plugged in fully under the unit.
