Just got this yesterday
For anyone who busy this for the series x the battery pack cover come with 2 for the regular Xbox one X controller and 2 for the series X controller so make sure your putting on the right one. I couldnât get them to fit until I realized
EDIT : but make sure you get the one with the series x controller on the front of the packaging

How time needs to charge
I just bought one and after a few hours, the light turns green. I push the dock down to stop the charging, then if I push it right back down to charge again(without ever using the controller after the green light),the light is red. Is that normal/anyone else have that happen?
That's normal. its pretty much trying to charge it again since you put it back on, but it'll take a a few minutes to see that its fully charged. Then, it'll turn green again. :)

No, you can just set them down on the pad once you lock It down.
I bought the exact same one and my LED lights aren't the same as yours when I charge mine the colour is Amber and when it's full charge it's like a clear blue colour

Unfortunately this is not compatible with the new Xbox shock blue controller. The battery fits but the replacement cover doesn't

Look for a universal power kit for laptops at best buy. They will come with a bunch of adapters so one should fit.

Check the battery position and direction. Make sure the metal contacts are touching.

Mine doesnât work, after I plug it in the lights go from green to red to off and doesnât turn back on, then I try putting the controllers on then and they donât turn back on/charge

The battery pack accepts the charge from the base station. If your controllers are not working then either your controllers are bad, the battery's are bad, or the base station Is bad
