    Fun fact: Rich actually played both sorcerers: Quan Chi and Shang Tsung in MK Mythologies. Shang during cutscenes only. Rich was also Noob Saibot in MK3. He also originated "Get Over Here" shout that later Boon voiced for Scorpion. Tony Marquez was also Fujin in MK Mythologies.

    @26:35 i love details like that. Incredible it had to do with the lights/shadows. That walking animation fitted so well with certain ninjas. I hope to see more of the old stances and animations back in the recent games

    50:05 How perfect would it be if his son did mocap for either Kung Lao or Kung Jin?

      Fun fact: his son put on the hat and filmed the moves for Kung Lao in the canceled MK HD remake.

    I would have LOVED to film this for you guys. No charge. Beer and pizza later too. I think this needed close ups of faces, and a few fight scenes.. Other wise as a director. I am not bitching. MK is just the best. the costumes are fucked up though. So lets see some action. I would like to direct it.
    That is so cool they were in TMNT II also.
    I just want to know how they had such perfect 90s hair
    Also, no one asked about the whole law suit thing with Oesina over Bloodstorm

    • @tabmok99
      @tabmok99  Před 5 lety +1

      Actually everyone at Midway was totally cool with the Bloodstorm thing! The lawsuit was totally unrelated. I'll make a video explaining it in detail sometime

    Kung lao is right, they definitely need to make a mk game with digitized actors with today's tech. Because the 3d is nice but doesn't have any realness to them.

    • @tabmok99
      @tabmok99  Před 5 lety +2

      They are working on one called Dark Presence (made by Galloping Ghost Productions). It's been in the making for a long time though.
      Another one that will hopefully see the light of day is Super Combat Fighter.

    • @BruceLeeroyX
      @BruceLeeroyX Před 5 lety +1

      @@tabmok99 awesome! The digitized actor type games like pit fighter, mk, ultra vortex, kasumi ninja, tattoo assassin's, street fighter the movie game, way of the warrior, etc. even though some were cheesy are still amazing to me and are better than most 3D fighters.

    • @tabmok99
      @tabmok99  Před 5 lety +2

      MK is definitely the best of the bunch, but yeah! These are all such a great way of doing things and I can't wait till we get another one!

    • @BruceLeeroyX
      @BruceLeeroyX Před 5 lety +3

      @@tabmok99 yeah your right! MK 2 to me is the best out of all the mk games. Terrordome is a very good game that does digitized fighting game well too. But Ed Boon and the WB definitely need to make that cancelled MK HD KOLLECTION an reality like ASAP and I'll pay $100 bucks for that.

    • @BruceLeeroyX
      @BruceLeeroyX Před 5 lety +1

      Oh I forgot about the digitize/ 3D actors fighter War Gods which was blue print later for the early 3D mk games.

    Holy shit, Daniel got fat. What happened??? lol or is it just the suit?
    I heard some rumor ages ago kano died of aids. Glad it was a rumor.
    I was really impressed how many characters Richard played in mk3 also Pesina in mk1 and mkII.
    Still my favorite fighting games are mk. I wonder if they would do well in a live action movie as some of their characters.
    It does state on some bios their style of martial arts.
    Kano did a dragon clan street style.
    Johnny was karate/wushu
    Scorpion and subzero was karate/kenpo.
    Lou was shoulin kung fu.
    kung lou and shang tsung was also shoilin, so was raiiden.

    • @tabmok99
      @tabmok99  Před 5 lety +2

      That's true about the fighting styles though it was from MK:
      Deadly Alliance to MK: Armageddon. I'm not surprised if some of these guys missed out on stuff once the series made the jump to 3D.
      They can act fairly well. They were in a couple movies, like Book of Swords and Press Start. Rich actually had a small cameo as a henchman in The Dark Knight. They've got pages on IMDB which is pretty neat!

      tabmok99 True. It looks like Pesina's scorpion suit is too small.
      I wonder if Richard went bald or just shaves his head also. How about Elizabeth Milecki??? Never saw her on any reuinion.
