Robin Shou was in such great shape in the movie. I remember the image of him shirtless he was so ripped
Robin, you’re kickass, Annihilation is over; you can still do good.
I wouldn't trade Anderson when it comes to MK. His outlook was great, knowing the richness besides the blood and gore.
Robin Shou was Amazing thank God he was in sequel only watched it because of him, who watching Mortal Kombat 1995 and Mortal Kombat (1997) in Quarantine right know.
I owe this movie everything. As a young boy watching it. It inspired me to become a Martial Arts Master!

Yup. From what I heard, she got married, had some kids, and decided she wanted to be a mom and family-woman rather than a celebrity. Very respectable decision.
A few other actresses have done the same, such as Shannon Elizabeth from the American Pie movies back in the day.
And an example of an male actor doing this is Rick Moranis. The reason he suddenly disappeared from movies, when he was extremely popular in the 80s and early 90s, was because his wife died of cancer and he decided that he needed to be there for his kids. He wanted to be a full-time dad, rather than a celebrity parent that barely gets to spend time with his kids.
He's a great man.

So great seeing the gang back together. Goro was an absolute diva behind the scenes lol. It's unbelievable that the two best fight scenes were reshoots. I'm glad they did.

It's really funny how you can listen to Anderson talk about how people spend too much energy "trying to please the fans" with videogame movies and just put the pieces together about how the Resident Evil films were so awful.
This is so dope! Awesome to see the guys behind the scenes stories. Linden Ashby is a great story teller too.

When they talked about Trevor Goddard (Kano) I wanted to know more. He was such a great character actor that was taken away from us too soon.

Still love this fucking movie. Loyal to the game,ace casting,great direction. Shame Paul Anderson ended up being an appalling writer and doing them shit Resident Evil films. Linden Ashby as Johnny Cage = Awesome.

MK1 was well directed. Lambert could have done the sequel. I actually liked Annihilation, even to make fun of some of the scenes and cheesy lines or cgi. It was still a great movie to put on and watch. Amazing soundtrack. MK1 was such a well done movie too plus increadable music and sets as well. A bit of a sausage fest here though. What about the guy that played Kano? Cary, sub-zero, Christopher, Bridgette, and Talisa?
Well the guy who played Kano (Trevor Goddard) died in '03. I admit it would have been absolutely awesome to get the rest of the crew together!

I blame Paul for the second film’s bad reputation, because they asked him to make the sequel, but he refused. Resulting in the many bad reviews, so this is why I greatly hate him for this.
