@@georgeyoung613I get it too. Different cars. Different ways to take the interior apart to run the wires. What you show for this car doesn’t work for all cars
@yourpalanon8182 Yes thats kinda true. I'm just saying this kit only has 1 wire and it's got a mail USB on the end. At the other end is an LED. That is connected to that long plastic tube that gets attached to your dash or wherever you want it. You can cut it anywhere. You just need to attach the cap to the end to prevent white light from spilling out. It's the simplest light on the market. Its not very good.

Or if you only drive in daytime. Interiors that have factory ambiental lighting are setup that the light source is always covered and you only see the afterglow, otherwise it's distracting as hell
How on earth can you concentrate on the road properly when you have your interior looking like a night club?
I usually turn it off when I’m driving to Dallas or something since it’s so distracting. But, when I’m in the city it’s actually not that bad if I have it on one solid color
Do a solid color and adjust the brightness.
I mean Mercedes literally has this OEM, granted it looks way way cleaner and not a stupid fiber optic cable
it's really not distracting, and most people don't have it cycling colors while driving

just split the cables and connect it to the dome light wire.
It happens to me that with the heat of the sun the led strip where the dashboard curves loosens and comes out of the slot. is there some type of specific glue to fix it better in that point?
Looks pretty neat, but I wouldn't put that in my truck

Okay but how’s the plugging working with the wiring reaching over to the driver door and connecting back with the dash???
You can tap into a wire in your door panel. Like the window up and down switch
You would need either an on and off switch in each section or multiple relays
Bit much in my opinion, few strips in correct spaces would’ve done the job nicely!

There’s no way that’s the end result these things are gonna bulge out and be sticking out, as then just rub em them to your usb??
I guess it depends on your car but they fit snug for me and from my experience they haven’t budged out and it’s been 6 months.

Problem with doing it the easy and lazy way is it looks cheap. The reason why I like all these LEDs on my Mercedes is because the LEDs are all broken up and they are placed specifically in certain areas. And looks custom. These look like you just took one of those LED strips that you put on the back of a TV and just looped it around everywhere you could go.
Perfect example of you get what you pay for and for the amount of work that you put in😂

I would love to have the ability to buy a new Mercedes S class. Actually, I would love to have the means to by a reliable and safe car or truck. A few years ago the engine in my 2008 Chevy HHR SS overheated. Less then a week later the engine in my 2010 Dodge Ram TRX4 locked up. Both cars had under 100,000 miles on them. Now that I'm a retired disabled Marine corps veteran, I no longer have the ability to buy a new or used car. It's a crazy world.
