Here is my reflection on the most recent chapter 113 of #owarinoseraph #seraphoftheened.
Oh man, I went into a LOT of stuff in this one, considering this was basically a filler chapter that was most likely designed to bait us to engage with the Great Plan(s) of BS.
Obviously I took the bait, hook, line and sinker!
Enjoy the wild theorising on our star-crossed lovers' special bond, rating our Lord and Saint Shikama's parenting skillz, and of course, reliving the delicious #mikayuu #yuumika fanservice that we were so shamelessly served with!

Ooo the talk about seraphs connected to the soul was interesting!! I didn't think about how Mika's seraph could be the one controlling yuus to a degree, but it does make sense! Also on him being 'king' of them, also makes sense if u think about how shikama trying to put seraphs in all these kids and experiments could all stem from like Mikaela's genes, so all the humans with their six seraphs have some offshoot of Mikaela's power. Maybe yuu has a deeper connection to it, like a direct one, whereas the others are more diluted? Could explain why mirai was able to die but yuu was kept alive, of ancient dead Mikaela was responsible!
I also love the idea of seraph mika just secretly fucking over his dad a lot and saving yuu all the time, u go kid I hope u get to middle finger him one day for trying to rip ur soul out of ur demon form 😂😂😂
Haha I’m glad my ramblings makes sense to someone! 😂 With the idea of Yu’s soul looping through the different incarnations, I suspect I might have been projecting my love of time looping, gay star-crossed lovers 😂 I love me some Homura x Madoka and Shinji x Kaworu.
There are so many questions over the intricacies of The Plan, it hurts my brain. As you say, how do the seraph genes actually work, what makes someone compatible, the black sun curse thing that Yu has going on, Sun God Aten and Sword of Michael… it’s endless. I think a series is needed on all the questions!

If Shikama is not responsible for Mika being able to communicate psychologically with Yuu then maybe Saito is involved? Or maybe Mika has some secret power to communicate with someone while being dead. Or maybe he’s secretly able to somehow fake his death and when the time is right he’ll wake up? It’s going to be interesting when we find out the truth but the manga needs to hurry up and speed up the story. Too many cliffhangers.
Yeah I agree it’s very possible it’s Saito as his shady role hasn’t really been explained yet- we just know he delivered both kids to the orphanage which is extremely sus 🤔 I prefer the idea that it’s a hidden power of Mika’s- your idea that he could be faking his death is interesting! I can’t wait for us to find out what original Mikaela’s actual purpose is in the story… superpowered anti-God weapon? 🙏
Couldn’t agree more with your last sentence. Enough cutesy filler chapters, give us the meat of the story please- we’re all starving! 😭
@@ARTEMIAZ I will say this though. Saito’s main goal is to save the world just like Shikama and Guren. If you read catastrophe at 16 he says that he has a plan to save the world but he never explains it. 😂
So just to clarify he wasn’t just trying to get revenge on Shikama. He for sure has more plans in his book.
They all want to save the world but only one of them knows how. If I was to bet money on who knows best, it would actually be Shikama. I feel like he just knows how the world works and who is behind all the taboos and stuff.
@@sydelidarlo7400 oooo I’ve read some of Saito’s parts in Ca16 and I don’t remember him saying that! Pfffft, all of these shady mf’s trying to ‘save the world’ 🙄
I agree Shikama seems to be the one with the most knowledge- Guren, Mahiru and Saito seem like they’re trying to complete a puzzle blindly by comparison… but then, I feel like thematically it should be the underdogs that ‘win’ in the end- children overcoming the father etc? I don’t know. I honestly don’t know what would be a fitting ending for this story- if we get a ‘happy’ ending what would that be and would there be any characters who really deserve it? 😅

Glad you enjoyed, and great point, thank you for reminding me about Ferid’s key! I wonder if Guren knows that Ferid has a key if they’re working together? Or maybe Ferid intends to cause chaos and turn on everyone like the madman he is.

Yeah, as much as I enjoy the shipping, it definitely feels right now we’re like kids being overfed with candy instead of proper food 😅 Shipping I think should be a nice flavour to add to a story and not the main course. Kagami needs to feed us with actual plot soon!
