- Alison Luff's Defying Gravity (you could say it was when she was at her peak.. she is always great) in Columbus, Ohio last June! It was truly amazing, I have listened to a lot of Defying Gravity's but none are quite like this one!! (Sorry about the occasional creaks from the seat) I love how she just nails the "I'm flying high, I'm Defyyyy-ing Gravity" it is great.
i have literally never, EVER, heard Alison Luff reach for a note. she hits them. every time. perfectly. the talent is just THERE.

Her placement is perfection for a belt. She is spot on with every last note she hits. To top that off, she doesn't riff, which to me, means she's a purist and let's the music speak for itself. Perfection.
Her high F is perfect! She is amazing, such a powerhouse!
What I love about alison is that she really shows emotion in her performance and that is something that is rare in a lot of elphies.

When I think of the ideal Elphaba tone, Allison’s immediately comes to mind. It’s not heavy. It’s not nasal. It just...is.
In my opinion, Willemijn Verkaik is the best Elphaba. But Alison is on a close second place for me! Love them both so much and they’re talented as hell.

I worked as an usher there!!!!!! I loved that cast so much 💜
This woman is amazing. I got to have the privilege of working as an usher at a theatre in Minneapolis back when she was in the tour and got to see almost all of her performances while she was there. Goosebumps every single time during this song and “No Good Deed.” She is amazing. (Also gives the best hugs. Haha. Yay stage door!)
