When i first started reading skypiea for the first time i had low expectations because most I saw people shit on it but i was kinda blown away with how good the arc was interesting setting entertaining villain amazing flash back alot of amazing double spreads and they even gave a snake a whole character arc and the ring the bell scene at the end was amazing sometimes i don't understand what makes something "bad" or "boring" for people because im sure as hell skypiea wasn't boring 💀

Yes... but it also sucked because at the time, people were done with Bleach. We were happy with it ending with Aizen... And the next arc with the Thousand Year War had so many retcons and was so unpopular that Bleach actually got canceled due to lack of popularity.... It's the arc that kept Bleach from being the Masterpiece... it lost it's ranking... And most of the love it gets now is less to do with it's own legend and more to do with Nostalgia...

Pretty simple for Skypia, it failed in the most important form of story telling which is being entertainning stoped my first watch of One Piece and my read of the manga on 2 seperate occasions once I reached that point in the story because once they reach sky island its so much exposition
Nah substitute soul reaper arc is lit. The tone of it is so unique and great from the rest of the series. Felt like a supernatural horror amongst the sea of battle shonen

Long Ring Long Land wouldn’t be nearly as bad if they just stuck to the manga’s version. There it was just a quick goof between the very heavy arcs before and after it. But they just needed to some extra filler for the anime and LRLL suffered.
I enjoyed lrll quite a bit but I do have to admit that I kind of got tired of how long it went on for, I just wanted it to end so I could get back to the other parts of it that were actually really good, I also don't like the thing oda is doing with foxy like bringing him back when nobody asks for it, it makes me feel like he's trying to make him into another buggy and that won't happen because no one likes him as much as buggy.

Fullbring was actually a great arc. It has slow phase , is very dark n depressing . I really liked it . My only problem with it is that Chad and Orihime barely did anything in their own arc. After rewatching Bleach recently , I got to say it's in my top 3 arcs of Bleach.
As a Bleach fan, I do understand why people don't like the Fullbring Arc. It's probably because the main arcs that Bleach fans remember SS and the Arrancar Saga. I believe that they feel as if it falls in comparison to those two goated arcs. I personally loved the Fullbring Arc as it gave us a minute to breathe. Plus it added a lot to Ichigo's character. It's definitely not my favorite, but I feel that we NEEDED that arc. The worst canon arc is the sub SS arc. It was ok, and it had good vibes, but a little boring. But the worst OVERALL? The god awful Bount Arc... Goodness that arc was bad. Probably the worst in the Big 3

Long Ring Long Land might have a lot of meaning to the plot of the story though, considering all the minor stuff that happened there and around that time Oda wanted to finish the story soon. So maybe Oda planted ideas there that are still in motion? Like how wacky and "free" it is just like the Nika fruit.
Greed Island was a masterpiece. With the dodgeball match and gon vs genthru.I liked it more than chimera ant because of the slow pacing of chimera ant tho thr ending was fire.
The fact that the man Togashi made a whole card game just for one arc should tell you everything about this mad lad and the most isekai non isekai arc that this is is awesome from the dope training with Bisky to the most badass dodgeball game so bests sports anime as well lmao

Imo the tower arc for HxH was the best, it hit different seeing Gon and Killua get so much stronger so quickly while adapting their nen to use new techniques. It was also such an interesting concept for the tower because of the variety of enemies and the hype around each fight.
I’d argue until we get the TYBW animated then Fullbring is the best arc honestly. It takes notes and beats from the substitute Shinigami arc and keeps itself grounded in real life super well. It plays us for a total fool with its twist villain with this “will he won’t he” game that the author is clearly playing. There are stakes that are felt in the sense of Ichigo’s entire family and friends and there is obviously something going down with Kisuke and Isshin behind the scenes giving a greater sense of mystique. The ending of the arc is absolutely phenomenal with Uryu giving the big reveal and Ichigo getting betrayed then feeling even further betrayed when he sees his father and kisuke while a sword is shoved through his chest. The final battle is just an added bonus. The fullbringer arc balances a lot and makes the story really build up to this big climactic moment and final battle while not giving us a bullshit reason as to why Ichigo regains his powers. It’s phenomenal

My only real issue with Fullbring is that Ginjo isn't the main Villian for very long. Realistically he is revealed and done with in a heartbeat. Tsukishima was a much better Villian, but I still think the arc is very good. Definitely not the worst though.
Skypiea has the most epic scenes. Especially when Luffy rang the bell of the sky and screamed the sky island is up here and his shadow in the clouds.Got chills

NGL full bring arc is my fave. For the skypia arc i remember it taking a way too long to get going so much so it turned me off to the manga for a long time.
Dude, I know so many people who quit attack on titan just because of season two. The horse season is tough to watch. Also, I have to admit I stopped watching one piece because I couldn’t make it through skypiea. I really wanna continue with the show, but I can only watch a couple episodes at a time. It’s really hard to sit through.
On rewatch, though not the best, it does a pretty good job of introducing the world and characters without wasting time and sets up a lot of future events. Saying its worse than fullbringer is doing it such a disservice

For me is is pretty close between Water 7 and Marineford. I like Marineford best overall but I loved Water 7 for a few reasons. First off it was the first time Luffy used gears, but more importantly it wad the first time the crew had a falling out. They were always a very tight crew with no real problems. Water 7 saw the straw hats nearly tear themselves apart from the inside. Not to mention a lot of great moments. Like Robin saying she wants to live and Usopp rejoining the crew. Marineford was a great setup for the time skip and a show of how high the straw hats and Luffy especially need to climb to reach their goal. Also it was by far the most important arc for Luffy and really changed him. He became more mature and had an understanding that not everything is just fun. He never really lost anything until Marineford. Everyrhing was happy and fixed by the end of each arc but Marineford was the time where Luffy realized he wasn't enough. It gave him an important experience that he can't just dive head first into everything anymore and expect to win.
I know why people call it the worst arc because it Sandwiched between alabasta and water 7 two of like the best arcs in early one piece so most people don’t even remember what it’s about which is sad because it’s not bad it’s actually really good
I feel like using worst is just a bit too harsh because it makes it sound like its actually bad, its just that compared to everything else it isn't as good. For example, although parts 1 and 6 are my least favorite Jojo parts, I don't necessarily think they are bad parts. There are certain things I really like, it's just that it doesn't really compare that well to parts like 4, 5, 7 and 8 which are my favourites

Skypiea is one of my favorite arcs to this day. I feel like the people who don’t like it just didn’t watch or something 😂 that Calgara and Noland backstory hits harder than any other no cap
People who don't like skypia don't like adventure. While it was slow paced I was so interested in every single thing about the land above the clouds and the noland backstory was peak

Aot goated anime it holds a special place in my heart because i watched it when i was young and it traumatized me, rewatched it when i got older and i no longer fear watching people get eaten alive
Noland's backstory is a great anime on its own. Which is common with almost every arc in one piece.

NGL full bring arc is my fave.
For the skypia arc i remember it taking a way too long to get going so much so it turned me off to the manga for a long time.
Skypia had an old man “sacrifice” his life and get struck by lightning just to come out at the end without a scratch
I sat through every episode of skypea but long-ring-long-land was impossible after the first Davy back fight.
Dude, I know so many people who quit attack on titan just because of season two. The horse season is tough to watch. Also, I have to admit I stopped watching one piece because I couldn’t make it through skypiea. I really wanna continue with the show, but I can only watch a couple episodes at a time. It’s really hard to sit through.
My favourite ark in one piece is impel down but only because we get more bon clay

On rewatch, though not the best, it does a pretty good job of introducing the world and characters without wasting time and sets up a lot of future events. Saying its worse than fullbringer is doing it such a disservice

Bro the reason long ring long land was so bad is cause we went in with something and came out with the exact same thing, we didn’t actually lose or gain anything from that arc, foxy hasn’t made an appearance in a long ass time, the only thing we gained was afro luffy

For me is is pretty close between Water 7 and Marineford. I like Marineford best overall but I loved Water 7 for a few reasons. First off it was the first time Luffy used gears, but more importantly it wad the first time the crew had a falling out. They were always a very tight crew with no real problems. Water 7 saw the straw hats nearly tear themselves apart from the inside. Not to mention a lot of great moments. Like Robin saying she wants to live and Usopp rejoining the crew. Marineford was a great setup for the time skip and a show of how high the straw hats and Luffy especially need to climb to reach their goal. Also it was by far the most important arc for Luffy and really changed him. He became more mature and had an understanding that not everything is just fun. He never really lost anything until Marineford. Everyrhing was happy and fixed by the end of each arc but Marineford was the time where Luffy realized he wasn't enough. It gave him an important experience that he can't just dive head first into everything anymore and expect to win.
I think the reason why skypiea was put one there was all the filler i almost skipped it but then it got exciting

I know why people call it the worst arc because it Sandwiched between alabasta and water 7 two of like the best arcs in early one piece so most people don’t even remember what it’s about which is sad because it’s not bad it’s actually really good
I feel like using worst is just a bit too harsh because it makes it sound like its actually bad, its just that compared to everything else it isn't as good.
For example, although parts 1 and 6 are my least favorite Jojo parts, I don't necessarily think they are bad parts. There are certain things I really like, it's just that it doesn't really compare that well to parts like 4, 5, 7 and 8 which are my favourites
