- This is a decent 7 inch touch display for the Raspberry pi 4 and Lattepanda Alpha with a working touch on Raspberry pi OS and Windows 10. This LCD is a plug-and-play LCD, with no driver needed for display and touch. This is an IPS display with 1024 X 600 pixels resolution, best for graphical works, for videos, and for browsing the web with accurate text visibility.

I found this LCD is an alternative to the original Waveshare 7 INCH display, but there is not any difference in picture quality and even this screen is cheap.
In case if you need the LCD code, install 7 inch LCD on raspberry pi 3 or older. Here is the config code for this display, just paste it in the bottom of the config.txt file.

Hi, how are viewing angles? Is it OK? backlit switch turn off led instantly and then turn it back on without any popup or so?
dont buy TN panel versions, buy the IPS one. TN panel has poor refresh rate and viewing angle than the IPS panel. its 10% more at most places anyway.
