But in the world of supply and demand, why not get them to pay for their ticket and the police cost. That was the owners point.
And I’ll also note, its not just his club thats doing this.
Also curious if this was a way for Wrexham to deflect attention away from the fans being upset about kit and ticket prices at home lately.

Jim's brain switches off when the numbers are discussed. This Andy Hold is at it. Jim runs with the fox and hunts with the hounds. He always says he's for the fans, but when an owner comes on and says he'll charge whatever he wants and if the fans can like it or lump it he sucks up to him! Pathetic.

I agree with Accrington. These ticket costs aren't just profit but they pay bills which takes from transfer and wage budgets. If he relaxes prices when the price of policing goes up then the balance is off

Whatever your thoughts on this, there's no way the Accrington owner can be as financially illiterate as he's making out.

2 things. Raising ticket prices might actually get less fans to come, and impact revenue across the board. It's not after all a top of the table clash. If he retains the right to raise prices on a whim, surely Wrexham have the right to lower them at a whim?

Jim White just cannot hide his contempt for Wrexham. Holt, no matter what you think of his pricing decision, has shown himself to be classless with his conduct and thirst for courting social media. I guess any publicity is good publicity 🤷🏻

This police costs, cobblers, is just a smokescreen. The bloke has seen an opportunity to trouser a few extra quid from a guaranteed full away end and chapeau to him for that. It’s the peeing in our pockets and telling us it’s raining, that most object to here.
