As a Filipino, this great news, We never want war or conflicts, we never seek them. we just want to protect what is ours, we know China is a powerful foe and we cannot win against them toe to toe, we even tried to be friends with them, but look at what they did to us, with that we know we cannot trust them, and no country should to be honest. our oldest Allies US is what we need, re aligning to our allies is a must to protect our country, this is a David against Goliath, but with help from our true friends we can deter China, or even win. China's expansionism is like Russia to Ukraine, we dont want that to happen, but if that comes to happen we will defend our country no matter what, this is all we got, so we will die for it if we must.

I think it will be beneficial.for our country Philippines to be a member of NATO and NATO as an ally of the Philippines it will both secure the safety and peace in the region and the world economy will have safe passage to its neighboring destination with out the harrassment from a country who is acting like they own the whole ocean.
