They are racing in Las Vegas, the air is warm and thin. This has a tendency to slow down cars. Additionally, a car like the Challenger would benefit greatly from drag racing tires
A hellcat should be racing a Shelby 🐍. A 5.0 coyote 🐺 should be racing a scat pack 🐝 they have similar power but a coyote vs a hellcat is no comparison

If your the driver in either of those hell cats you should be ashamed. That mustang gt has about half the horsepower and torque of the hell cat.
