  • We're back!!!! Not only 2 uploads in back to back weeks its like the good old days but Elliot actually edited a video???? This is the first installment in our fantasy fellowship, following the quest of the ringbearer narrative supplement by games workshop for mesbg.
Will our ringbearer be as much as a wetty as film frodo?? What other gorgeous people will make up our nine?? 3 points available for anyone who guesses the theme. Points may never be redeemable for prizes but who knows.
Let us know if there are any other scenarios we must play!

Well that's certainly an interesting theme (Frodo is a bit of a outlier unless you count him sailing into the west) :)

It was a very limited choice as it had to be a hobbit, and someone like lobelia we don't see die anyway so we thought wife swap/stabbed in the gut by Sheebs was good enough 😂

The movement rules of Sentries was really unengaging for me. When we played, every wraith just ended up walking directly towards and directly away from the heroes each turn so basically ended up in the same 6" area for the entire game... We house ruled our own system where you roll a d6 and a d10 at the same time.
Result of 1 on the d6 is sentry moves full speed in a random direction, 2-3 is half speed in random direction, 4-5 is half speed in direction of controlling player's choice and 6 is full move as normal. The direction the top face of the d10 points is the random direction the wraith moves in on low rolls, so its more like old GW scatter dice rules. That made it a lot more dramatic being as neither player truly knew what was happening until the alarm was raised, everyone was excited to roll and see the resulting movement.

That makes sense, Although i would just use the scatter die from warhammer

Yeah I think they definitely need some tweaking, first time we'd ever used them so think we hoped they were balanced enough lol
