  • In part 2 I show how to completely reassemble lower end of the Prostar 570 engine. This is the same for the Ranger, Rzr and Ace. Now the Sportsman is going to be exactly the same process other then the engine case is slightly different in shape. ‪@montemania198210‬

I tried it with heating case to 250 degrees and put the crank in the freezer for 1 hr it went halfway. Lucky I had a press to force it back the rest of the way. May it has to be in the freezer longer.

Yeah, I left it in the freezer overnight, worked like a charm.

Believe it our not I have one 😆 I try to show basic way of getting a job done for the average diy person. Most of the time with the heat and cool method parts will drop right in. Thanks for the comment I appreciate it.

@@montemania198210 Wouldn't cold/cold make more sense than warm/cold? Why expand the bearing and contract the shaft? Expanding with heat seems like it would take away clearance rather than give it.

You have a part number for the right side crank bearing? The one that's like a cam bearing.

Yup, looks like no play in that new connecting rod to the crank shaft.... Dang. Hope you have a vid how to get the motor unhooked and out of my wheeler...

Rev 6 full kit. Comes with everything. The crank they supply is a hot cams same for tensioner. They use chains and bearings from Polaris. Great company with many options for your specific build.

Nice video. I'm having an issue. The engine turned over just fine the first few compression tests, then it ran smooth twice just heating up and letting it cool down. ISSUE- Next compression test the starter just spun and didn't engauge to turn the engine over. I have proper voltage to the starter. The starter is new and spins as it should. My issue seems to be that the starter gear doesn't engauge the gears to turn the crank. Any ideas? Also, should there be a snap ring between the timing chain guide and the crank gear?

Can I change my camshaft timing chain on my2019 570 without having to remove the head again? It won't time and the chain seems stretched. Thanks for any advice

I need to replace the mag side bearing/ bushing. I can’t seem to find one. Can someone point me in the right direction? Thank you

I have a question, I'm doing a total rebuild on my 570 and I read somewhere that if the crank bearing on the MAG side is damaged you have to replace the entire case? Is this true, in this video you said you pressed it out but you can't buy the bearing from Polaris?
    Thanks
