- Well here it is part one of the rebuild series. Apparently theirs very little in depth videos showing how to rebuild a 570. In part 1 I show how to completely teardown the Prostar 570 engine. This is the same for the Ranger, Rzr and Ace. Now the Sportsman is going to be exactly the same process other then the engine case is slightly different in shape.

sweet coffee cup. thanks for the video.
Fantastic video, I don't even need to teardown my 570, started watching this video on a whim as I came across it & was drawn in. Subscribed
Thank you so much. Stay tuned for more great Polaris content.
Very helpful, thank you for doing this!
Im about to build one myself. I'll be posting on my channel. Great video, very helpful!
Great job buddy! Keep it up!
Good job
Someone ran diesel through ours at work, with summer coming up I'm weighing the idea of fixing it and running it for the summer.
Awesome vids! Thanks!! I poked a hole in my oil pan and ran mine out of oil till it seezed. I got it broke loose, but didn't run. So I thought it might be rings and cylinder. There is marks, I was hoping it's just that... But I'm rewatching your video to see if you showed there was play between the connecting rod and crank shaft? I can pull the connecting rod up and down on the crank, I think it's shot too?
Would this tear down apply
To a 2016 ranger 570 engine?
Top.
Was the crank gouged and need to be replaced? I’m about to try this rebuild as well and I’m a little intimidated with this. Thanks
Nice video. I'm having an issue. The engine turned over just fine the first few compression tests, then it ran smooth twice just heating up and letting it cool down. ISSUE- Next compression test the starter just spun and didn't engauge to turn the engine over. I have proper voltage to the starter. The starter is new and spins as it should. My issue seems to be that the starter gear doesn't engauge the gears to turn the crank. Any ideas? Also, should there be a snap ring between the timing chain guide and the crank gear?
Good video of a complete 570 teardown....I think it's the only one that I could find on youtube. What do you have into parts for this rebuild?
Thank you. Seriously there is nothing on CZcams other then couple short incomplete vids. I usually have right around 1500 in parts when I rebuild these.
Awesome video, I’m at a stand still waiting on your follow up 🤪 keep up the great work and great videos
@@chadwalker1453 thank you so much. Rebuild video should be up this weekend!!!!
What happened to part 4?
If you pull silver head bolts out, can you replace them with the black ones? I hate the torque specs for the smaller silver (180* the another 180*)ones and I've not found an answer anywhere. Thanks.
Do u have to take the motor out of the 2019 570 to do the top end??
Do you have a part number for the complete rebuild kit from Polaris ??
Can You add the part kit in the description you bought
Do you have a video on how to remove one?
Hey I have a question I have a 570 and I dusted the motor. But no metal and nothing blew up it was still running just had water and dirt in the system. I'm rebuilding myself I'm on a tight budget but do you think I have to change the oil pump out if it's not scarred up reuse it and put a new oil pump chain and timing chain and upgrade the timing tensioner.
As long as the oil pump has no grooves you should be safe, make sure those chains get replaced tho.
Thank you 😊 for your time. And keep up the videos they are all good and helpful. I have all my parts in doing my rebuild this Friday night.
Would u rebuild one for someone
Where did you buy all the parts to rebuild it?
I use Rev6 great company to deal with.
@@montemania198210 was looking on there sight. Did you put the regular jug and pistion back in or there bigbore kit.
@@gushowlett4161 just the standard bore
Rev 6 is junk @@montemania198210
They try to turn the engine over with a flat screwdriver that’s is why the cam is broken
