I love these songs. The back catalogue the youngsters of the 1970s put into the charts. Still love those songs. Keeping the music out there. Those guys are.......
Somehow this young singer guy is making these songs remind me of the way the band sound back in the 1970s. Les was young when he was on the singles we bought. And this young guys voice reminds me of back then.
I'd give almost anything to see them. They got me through so much bad stuff when I was brown g up! Now I'm disabled . But hopeful before I die. I hope to see them live and in person.
They're still getting some of us through some rough times with their fun music as a diversion. I hope you get to see them some day, too. Woody will be playing at the Arcata Theater again March 13 2020 in Illinois.
New life and great energy pumped into these old familiar pop tunes , and some lesser known album tracks that’ll show many underestimated the original BCR! Oh, and as well as being great musicians, they are all genuine kind and gracious guys! Woody still rocks!
Why should woody have more rights,he didn't start the band, it was Alan and Derrick, followed by a cousin and friend starting in the sixties, Eric was the first for the second round.les said he wouldn't of worked with woody, Eric had enough of woody.
I just love this. These musicians are wonderful together. It is obvious they are having a good time and are enjoying the music and the audience. Hopefully I will get to a concert- maybe California gentlemen? This happy music just makes life better. Thank you to the "band widows" that allow their husbands to perform.
Only Woody left out of the heydays band that is doing the back catalogue of the Rollers . Like most other bands from the 70s, members have died, left the band, or have health issues. Slade, Smokie, Sweet, T Rex, to name the others. All have other new guys touring their back catalogues. This line up is no different to what is going on with the others 70s band names I mentioned on.. And the wider general public who are the crowd who made them famous and the crowd who go see this line up. Have so far travelled by boat, climbed steep hilly slopes in a forest area place in the middle of countryside, and travelled to a remote village with no buses back. You defo needed someone with a car. That is another story. But they do not make it easy. Determination is certainly needed, to see them. Aberdeen was the easiest gig, for me anyway. Phew! Love them to bits.
He actually kinda used to do an impression reminiscent of Stan Laurel in the "Rollers Home Movies" skits on their Krofftt Superstar Hour show. I think he looks pretty rockin' for his age.
Didn't see the bay city rollers. Les carries it better. Yes woody is a good musician but lead singers are the soul of the band's. Woody should have stuck by les. But maybe those two don't have a close friendship. Yes les does have an ego. But he's the performers. He looks happy in his band and some of the spark of yesteryear.
I've seen Woodys new band 3x now. They are awesome! It's just a different vibe than Les band. The new guys are super nice and appreciate their fans. Woody seems very happy with the outcome.
As Derrick said, they should of left it alone, money honey is Eric, wrot at twelve,he didn't know woody until he was twenty, woody sixteen,I would tell him.
Eric may well have written many of the lyrics, but where other Rollers are also credited maybe they had an input into the musical arrangement? All the guys had way more talent than they were given credit for.
Denise, you must be Woody's wife, after affect, why does woody keep his gold and silver discs in the attic that he got back from the cop that where they lived was on his beat, took a long time to get them back, after the cop sent them to the paper, without Eric's music, they wouldn't have a band,so work that out.
They are not the bay city rollers, the name should of been registered at the time,it was Alan's band,as Eric said, always will be, mostly Erics songs,I would take him to court in Scotland,as Les found out, wouldn't get his way, England said yes, should of got into trouble that judge.england think they are a law unto themselves.
The original band were of course Alan’s band. Woody has as much right (more actually) as any other Roller to use “Bay City Rollers” but makes it clear that his band includes younger musicians by being “New Generation Bay City Rollers “ no confusion, no real issue, so no point in your comment really

This young guys voice reminds me of how Les sounded when he was young. Totally enthusiastic. I can hear Les when he was young. Vibrant vocals.
It's so good to see Woody has his own band. They do okay.

Hopefully you can come to California and perform. That would be awesome sooner than later

Trying to contact Woody to be a phone guest on a syndicated FM rock radio show
Have you tried posting a question to his fb groups?
Try getting in touch with him on his BCR New Generation Facebook page. Him and his wife, Denise respond to questions on there. That would awesome!
Does Woody look a little bit like Stan Laurel these days?
He actually kinda used to do an impression reminiscent of Stan Laurel in the "Rollers Home Movies" skits on their Krofftt Superstar Hour show. I think he looks pretty rockin' for his age.
Pro tip : watch movies at Flixzone. Me and my gf have been using it for watching all kinds of movies recently.
@Armani Ruben Yup, have been watching on flixzone for years myself :D
Love this band to bits. Boy, this guy can sing. He ROCKS.
me too!
thats woody singing on the first microphone

Les is a much better singer. This guy 👎
@@itsmeagain1347 that's your opinion. I don't think so.

Sorry but i like the old band but i know people get older but the real band had more spunk i think.
Denise, you must be Woody's wife, after affect, why does woody keep his gold and silver discs in the attic that he got back from the cop that where they lived was on his beat, took a long time to get them back, after the cop sent them to the paper, without Eric's music, they wouldn't have a band,so work that out.
People don't stay in the band, yesterday's hero, that's what Les and woody are.
Not bad! But the version of "Keep On Dancing" was NOT very good. Should have stuck closer to the original version.
Not half as good as les's later version of the BCRs

You don't know as much as you think you do.
Vocals are a bit iffy..step it up before November...
Recorded on someone’s phone...that kind of affects sound quality!
Not sure who the singer is he's good I'll give him that
His name is Ian Thomson.
Sounds way better without Les I'm sorry! I'd rather see this live tbh!
Pfft. This band sucks.
