Les. You will be dearly missed. BCR such a big part of my youth, collecting all your records, filling a scrapbook of pictures, I was such a fan. Dear Alan and Ian ..Rip and Eric, such soulful eyes and such wonderful songs you wrote. Stay well. From your fans we will always love your music.
Sadly Les has passed away , not sure exactly when…also Ian and Alan are deceased …..so many teenage memories of this band , it’s hard to imagine them getting old (/like us ) rest in peace fellas xx🇦🇺🇦🇺
I was so sad to hear about Les passing. My mom was a big fan in the 70s and so I grew up hearing the Bay City Rollers. They were on my little ipod in the 2000s. I saw Les once around 2010 when I was ten years old and would have loved to go again when this pandemic was all over
God bless you Les forever as you might be gone but you will never be forgotten ...I just adored the Bay City Rollers as they were it, in my teenage years...loved then and loved now💖💖💖..had tartan from head to toe...you were all my heart throbs ...I.m just crushed...to the McKeon family bless you all
Thanks for the memories Les and the boys..hard to believe this was just over 5 yrs ago..just goes to show you live your life to the full as you just never know when your number is up..Bye Bye.. Les RIP
Bay City Rollers are one of the best bands in the country if not the best. Surprised how polished their performance was and the lead singer Les Mckeowan had a very bad cold yet it didnt show one bit.He delivered along with Alan and Stuart 'woody' Wood a very memorable performance.Excellent.
Massive massive band, dont think people reliese how big the BCR were. As big as the Beatles if you ask me. And smashed it both sides of the pond as well.
These were probably one of the first boy bands in uk, before take that, westlife, boyzone and many others, glad i was born in 1969, i watched these on TOTP as well as shawaddywaddy and many more
I used to tease my sister and her Rollermania when i was a kid, look at me now watching the "mature" Rollers 40 years later and enjoying it. I must say these guys had some really good songs and at the end of the day they deserve to be called one of the first successful "boy bands" in the music history (even though this term wasn't invented yet in their time). Last but not least they're really cool scottish lads. And yes i already apologized to my sis, she would forgive me anything, too happy to have her BCR back ;-D
I guess it had to do with the fact that as a teenahe boy everybody expects you to act tough. So back then i wouldn't admit it even to myself that i liked a song like "The Way I Feel Tonight", i just had to call it "cheesy". But on the other hand i was the "soundtrack in my head" everytime i looked at the girl i liked in school ;-D
I have to say, that I really liked this band. But there was no chance to say it at back in 70's. Now I have much more self-confidence to say it 😊 👍 In Finland girls loved BCR, and guys listened one Finnish rock'n'roll band Hurriganes.
thank you so much for this video. I`m such a big Alan fan, I got tosee the rollers again since 1979 until June 2023. They were my rescue in the 70´s when I had to move from the staes to Germany. RIP Alan, Ian and Les 😭

Keep in Dancin' Les! Great to see the three of you back together again and keep the Legendary Rollers band too. Top act!
Well, I have to say they sound pretty damn good.
みんな歳を取ったな。でもレスリー・マッコーエンの歌声は当時の面影がある。They are getting old. But Les McKeown's voice remains the same.
WOW!! What a GREAT show!! Oh to have been in that audience! Woody and Alan look and sound so good. Seeing them together takes my teenage heart back to a very special time in my life… and their’s.❤️💔☹️❤️

Such a shame. Great sing along songs and great fun. RIP Les.
They were like the Scottish version of the Beach Boys. Yes, I even had a tartan scarf back in the day... lol
There is a guy drives around Paphos , Cyprus, with the BCR blaring out of his car 👍👍
Really! That's cool !
After all these years, Woody's still showing a bit o' skin with the kilt. Nice legs, Mr. Wood. Nice guitar solo as well.
